The latest thinking on the Antichrist is that it is not one person,but rather a collection of all of those who stand against the Christ myth,those opposed to the hypocrisy of Christianity and most importantly,those that act in the name of Christ and Christianity and those that perform and purvey evil in its name.Let's face it,all of the religious aspects of God and Christ were created by Man in order to either perpetuate a race or maintain order.Tenets notwithstanding,religion is a crutch used by those unwilling or unprepared to go through life taking responsibility for one's own actions.
Since Man has been looking up at the starry sky He has been trying to explain the things He cannot explain.God and Christ made easy answers.The time has come to try to find better and more responsible answers.
God is simply the number we cannot count to.
Has anyone ever wondered what would happen if a cataclysmic war or catastrophe demolished most of the world,leaving only a small tribe on a small island off the coast of Australia to survive?Would "God" come back and have to start over again,rebuilding His "empire"?Would it screw up his plans for the "Second Coming"?Or would we all just keep on living and rebuilding the human race without worrying about creating images to control us,but rather celebrating our humaness and all that goes along with it?
History is written by the winner,and if Christianity was removed from history,then this would all be solved.
I bet more people wonder who is going to be the next American Idol than the next Antichrist,or are they one in the same?
