Autumn is coming and summer's finally out of here!!

the leaves will change colors ...it's mini skirt season for me (even during the winter too - true Chicagoan here) ...long nature walks along the lakefront ...football games - DA BEARS!

i love this time of the year!

1) Usually not too hot or too cold yet
2)Leaves changing into beautiful colors
3) Another reason to prowl around for a hot man to hibernate with !

What I like best,,,besides my birthday...is the crisp, dry. cool air. The autumn colors creping across the landscape. The sound out crickets in the grass. The parks and bike paths and beaches are empty. What's not to like?

The weather the weather the weather!!!!!!!!!!

I can be outside without sweating to death, without being a mosquito buffet.

I can open the windows again! Sleep with a breeze blowing through and the sound of crickets and frogs.

Lots more horseback riding!!!!!!! (before hunting season starts)

I start cooking all the good stuff (homemade soups, roasted chicken, baked goods, etc) again.

More hiking!

Lots of other stuff I cannot think of right now.

My birthday, leaves (I love the color), and I can finally have soup. Plus fresh apples, and it’s perfect weather.

Drag all the implements of pain/pleasure, tease/torture outside and do some outdoor BDSM in comfortable weather!

A few rather large construction projects will be finished around the house.  There is reason to celebrate.

Forecast is 30 for Saturday morning....the cooler weather is coming way too fast.

Something nice about September?  Two couples, some of my best friends in the world, were married and formally collared 4 years ago... on September 11!  Thus giving our circle of friends a good memory for that date.  School starts in August for my rugrats so, September is really all about getting set up in the school year routines.  Sire stops complaining about the heat!
