i keep hearing about these people becoming 24/7 slaves at bdsm houses, how do you find these houses?

There are a few...the one that comes to mind is The Estate. You can do an internet search for it.

Typically you don't. They find you...

But don't expect some grand manor in which the slavs run to-and-fro. (Though the House of Valemont in Virginia seems to be just that.)

More typically you will find the kind of thing my female dominant partner and I are trying to build. A dominant or two with enough space (and the desire) to house and train a few slaves. (And it just so happens we are looking for slaves...)

That said, posting on such a message board is a good start...

That's why I like em Fate! :)

It's also more common to have "Master/slave Tracks" at conventions and events for people who want to immerse themselves and explore those dynamics at a specific level.

I have reasons to both love and hate this.

PS to TDAW, they do it in matching corsets too! I got to see two of them in divine matching corsets before they were thrown out of Black Rose and the head of the house threw a temper tantrum last year.

There are a few houses that do this. But very few, and as said, it is not the lovely fairy tale that many boys fantasize about. I get lots of these requests, assumptions, hopes, projections. The boys want to be ready to greet Me after My long, tiring day at work. Like that's going to happen!
I have looked at your profile and you are very young in years, and well as experience in this lifestyle. Take some time, and get to know what it is you really want. It may sound romantic, and a wonderful way to spend your school vacation, but it is unlikely you are going to find it.
The reason you keep hearing about it, is because this is the fantasy. It's not the reality, 99.999% of the time.

your best bet in finding BDSM House Holds is it start attending Scenes and Munches with your local BDSM chapters. By typeing BDSM and the towns near by, you'll eventully find something. Other than that, you can also start messageing other ppl in your area about such groups. The only House that I have any affiliation with is House Viper in Houston TX. It's mostly cooridinated by CM member MichellefromHell. Good luck in finding a house for you.

I would have to disagree Taggard. I have never seen anyone ask for consideration by a "house"; they have always been invited. I do know that I have sent my subs to one house for additional training; but it was me, their Master who approached the house. Only after fully checking my credentials and references was my sub allowed a visit. She did well and her behavior reflected positively on me. Thuys when it was time for another to go, she was accepted quickly.

The (use your won adjective here) level of bdsm D/s players are an inner circle and an inter connected network of highly skilled and well-known (to each other) group. Who "gets in" and who is excluded is sometime capricious; but mostly is based on merit and recommendation.

My advice is for the young man or woman who is interested in such a place is this: Become involved with an accomplished Master who is well connected and/or do a lot of public play where the upper echelons can watch you. I believe Emerald mentioned Black Rose. The public dungeon there gives people a good venue to "show off". There are a lot of scenes that I have witnessed there which absolutely blew me away; and I am old and jaded...lol

The LAST place I would look for someone to recommend to a house would be on a message board.

Oh, I think you misunderstood what I meant. I simply was saying that the boy needs to get noticed. Let it be known that he is indeed looking to be "found."

This board has some real serious players. Since he is in NY, he might indeed find himself invited to a munch or other event, and things can go from there.

Of course it woudl be better to go out and jump into the real life scene...but that can be hard for even the most brave amongst us.
