i am curious if others out there on these boards have watched the recent episode of Rescue Me (on FX - Wednesday at 10 & 11, also repeats on another day) with Denis Leary and thought it was on the edge of being D/s between him and his dommish gf - was he turning the tables on her? That scene made me shiver. They spoke about spanking like its a natural progression for a relationship to take. Another character (forgot his name) made reference to being tied up and paddled to which his fellow firfighter asked very casually, "was it in an S&M club", to which he replied no it was last Thanksgiving. Anyway thought i would ask and share - it's a great show and i think Leary would make a great dom [:D]

I dident really like it, some of the characters just grate against my mind like heavy grain sandpaper, ecspecially the 18 year old. I was really watching the show for Artie Lange, but all his scenes werent as funny as I was wishing.

I've been a huge fan since the beginning. It's my type of show, though, where there's so much dark comedy I can't help but giggle. Kinda like Nip/Tuck in that regard... Plus, any new show F/X trots out I'll check out. The Shield, The Riches, Damages, Rescue Me, and Nip/Tuck are all just absolutely amazing. (Edited to add: Yeah, I definitely thought there was a strong D/s vibe between Tommy and the new chick. Should be interesting to see where it goes next season.)

When he told her to put on that outfit and she came downstairs with it on, then he told her he was hungry and she would cook him food and that when he was finished eating he would bend her over the table and......... make love to her....damn i was so hoping he was gonna say spank her (she really deserved it for being such a bitch and a tease to him). Was that the last episode of the season?

Loved the SM club/Thanksgiving thing also! I turned to hubby after they said it and told him that I wanted to have Turkey day with the folks on TV, because even though we go to S/M clubs, our Thanksgiving never includes whips or chains. LoL
