I do understand your reasoning - but, for example - if you are not owned at the time and not following a set instruction, then would it not be just as easy to ask the dominant you are speaking to how they like to be addressed, intead of just judging on something? I often ask how someone likes to be addressed - it takes ten seconds - and shows respect and courtesy to the person your addressing?

I would probably suggest that the OP may be being specific in talking about an unowned slaves approach to Her. My assumption, but I think most dominants understand the difference in someone like yourself and an unowned slave. That said - isn't it up to your Master to first be respectful to any Dominant and find out if it is ok by them to be called'Mistress' etc by someone who isn't theirs? Demon certainly wouldn't to be addressed in such familier terms by someone He didn't know in such a way.

I am totally unsure about your reasoning here? Not all slaves are slaves because they are ignorant. That, IMO , is a bit of an excuse. Being a slave doesn't automatically give anyone the right to behave just how they want or think - and be accepted by that. They have the right to do it - but not to be accepted because of their behaviour. I am not a slave myself, and maybe I am taking a huge assumption here, but to me, thats really condecending of slaves.

It isn't purely a male sub thing - some females are the same. Some can even be used to disassociate themselves and is quite a commen fetish.

I am not meaning to pull apart your thread, just offering another opinion. I can see the OPS view, and I can understand yours - but I think that in all cases, people should be more open to realising what goes for one, isn't always good for someone else. If, for example Demon calls me girl - it's great - get some man I don't know doing it and it feels too familier and without any respect for me or Demons thoughts. It takes 30 seconds to find out an inital thought on a greeting - and then you can work out a lifetime of respect.

I'll chime in...

the stylized submissive prose is very irritating to me, also. I am by no means looking for a sub, but any that started out an exchange in that 'language' would be immediately disregarded.

There is another board where_phrases_are_accented_with_heavy_underscores. This too is very irritating.

Folks need to communicate, while expressing themselves comfortably... but the self expression can get so far gone that the communication is rendered ineffective.

just a short reply to BTF....I for one never fear rejection...isn't that a part of life...if we always got everything we wanted wouldn't that be very boring and suck the challenge out of a good quest...

well said...also factor in many type faster than their fingers hince typos that at the time look ok but after posting or messaging are all wrong...if we were all perfect would we even have a need to communicate or wouldn't everyone already know us without speaking a word....some need to overlook the small stuff to see the bigger picture...refinment can come later....

I would have to agree with you. If some one calls me 'slave' from the frist e-mail, the will not get another one from me. I have a little more respect for my self then that. If any one is allowed to call me slave it is because i have given my self to her and that is what i wish to be. If you want to refere to my possion in life, sub works just fine, and it's less disrespectfull.

I don't go around calling everyone master or mistress, because they are not mine, to call that. They have user names for a reason. I can still be polite and show respect for them with out the names.

As for the capitals and lower case...I was thought to use them properly (or at least most of the time..i was never any good at grammer) and that is the way they are ment to be use. If my mistress wishes for me to stop, then I will, while talking to her and who ever eles she includes. Except for the rest of the world. Personly I think that anyone person that needs to type capitals and small letters all the time, is someone who constantly needs to be reminded of their power or lack of. If you need to be reminded, do it eles where, theres no reason to drag the rest of the world into it.

Just my two cents.

In the short time that I have been active in this lifestyle, I have been wholly under the impression that you speak to people with respect. However, that to me means that if my sub were interacting with another Dom. All she needs to do is treat them with the common respect given to any other human being. If she so chooses to speak to them in that way fine. If she wants to speak to them as if she was having a general conversation outside of this network, so what ? I understand what the Op was getting at, but i think she should just let the person know how they prefer to be addressed.

I get messages like what she described all the time. Especially from cuckolds, or rathe "wannabe" cucks who feel they have to pretend to gain my attention.

Now I’m the old fashion Two Finger Typist.. To start with I have very large fingers and even when typing quickly, I am likely to kit two keys simultaneously. I generally an writing a paragraph behind what I’m composing so another screw up area. I do find that by writing in “Word” I can eliminate most of the spelling errors as well as vetting my grammar. When I need to speed things along and not have to much editing to do I use the “Dragon Speaking Naturally” voice recognition program (this is especially good for documents of 2000 words plus). The other problem I have to face is a form of dyslexia which presents when I type into those input box thingies. I can do a visual check and yet 90% of the time when it is posted all the typos in creation are sitting there giving me the “bird”. Another for using “Word”.

You're not a "weido"...this site is for people who can express what is within themselves...in your case...it is submissive males from what I gather in you post...they want to express there utmost respect by lowing themselves to you within the parameters of the internet. There is nothing wrong with them at all, as I see it...its a matter of finding who you truely want to meet and expressing yourself as well as they express themselves to you...If you are not happy with your resonses...there are other internet sites of interest...I was not able to access you profile...perhaps you turned it off....either way...best in you search....
