Status: offline 		I'm very familiar with the Porta-Sling stand that is shaped like a box but there is another I have seen and noone has been able to find it for me. It almost looks like an upside down spider or four pointed hammock stand. The person who showed me theirs said they got it from two guys from the DC area at IML a few years ago. Any idea if these guys are still around and if I can get one from them?

ELEGANT??? Any answers???

Status: offline 		Extreme Restraints.com has them for about 200 dollars. You can add the swing of choice, or use rope to suspend the submissive.

Status: offline 		Extreme Restraints has two models. The one that looks like a box is more money and I believe would have less functioning capability. The sex swing stand is shaped more like two upside down "U"s connected at the apex. The second model is the one I had in mind, it looks more portable and cost less money.

Status: offline 		Yeah I work for a leather lifestyle retailer. The two u-shaped sex swing stand is okay but it isn't nearly as sturdy or portable and was really only made for skinny people when i've seen it used. The more expensive box one is a good product for the most part but I'm only using mine for a sling and not for suspension, bondage or other things. I was trying more to see if anyone else has seen the upside spider looking one, I've seen before but can't seem to find now.

Status: offline 		The two U shaped tubes hold up to 825 pounds. Place to do semi suspension from the center or hold up to four subs for flogging or whips. Dismantles and fits into a rolling hardcase of golf bags. The case is $39 and travels well.

Status: offline 		We have the two U-shaped one and it holds up to 800 pounds.  It's the same as this one: http://www.mysecrettoys.com/sexswingtree.htm

We don't use it anymore as we put in an electric hoist.  We'd be willing to let it go for $75 + shipping if anyone is interested.

Status: offline 		I'm going to be installing an electric hoist system for a pro-Domme friend of mine sometime before the end of the year.  My apartment has low ceilings, so her dungeon is my one chance to create a really cool suspension system, and she's given pretty much carte blanche to do it, so long as I keep the cost manageable.

Did you encounter any specific issues with the hoist that it might help me to know?

My current plan is to run a double-line from two anchor-plates into a heavy ceiling beam.  One line terminates, the other runs through a block, and goes transversely across the ceiling to the drum, which is mounted inconspicuously over in the corner.  The control box hangs down on a 5' cable in the same corner.

The hoist we got has two brackets that go over a ceiling beam and bolt directly into the hoist casing.  We check once in a while to make sure nothing is coming loose, and so far, for the year or so it's been up it hasn't loosened at all.  Ours holds 440 lbs. using a single line and 880 lbs when doubled.  Plenty for us.

Status: offline 		You may want to call Mr. S and ask them if they still have the stands made by Industrial Kink. My friend owns Industrial Kink, and Mr. S did have a few for sale on consignment. His stands can hold a car by the center hook, and there are is also an eyebolt on each leg. They're powder coated in black. They're sexy, and they're hardcore, and amazingly stable.
