I don't know if these women are dommes in their private lives but Michelle Forbes, Frances McDormand and Marcia Gay Harden...the thought of them as dommes is really does it for me!

I think Tyra Banks might be...She seems to be in such control of everything and everyone around her. Condolesa Rice looks like she might be on control person. Paris Hilton...Hmmmm, she is to flighty. I don't think she has the intelligence to be a domme. Martha Stewart, she just looks like a Domme to me! So does Hillary Clinton. If you read the profiles of women on this sight who are Domme's, they all write extremely well and are very articulate. At least in my opinion. I think there is a connection there.

I don’t mean to sound rude and I hope I don’t…, however, MOST ppl who have to be the boss at work, are submissive…. I.E. cops, military… NOT ALL, but MOST…. In my experience, which is a totally shame, because cops and military are my biggest weakness…

So I will bet the most powerful celebritys are the same way…. But it is nice to dream…

a celebrity, especially an actor, is a "slave" to their career and to the pop-culture that worships and/or damns them.

this slave hasn't met, and doesn't think she ever will meet a successfull celebrity with a Dominant nature.

that they might play act the role of "Domme" or "submissive" from time to time, on-screen or off, seems inevitable.

there are lots of them, that truly, only lifestylers would notice: For example, U and UR Hand(which I absolutely love btw) She is dressed, well, you will see..then during the clip near the end, caption says she decides to tease an old flame, and she is putting pics in a box addressed to "Daddy"..if you start watching a lot of them, you will see very subtle references...

I think you're mistaking a number of what I'd refer to as "Domineering" women as Dommes, which are entirely different' types of women to me! I seriously doubt that Hillary Clinton or Martha Stewart are Dommes. Ditto for Condolesa Rice. These are women who know how to "play ball" in the corporate and political worlds of power plays, not power exchanges with men where getting turned sexually as part of it is important to them; women who definitely have very different goals and two very different approaches to getting what they want.

I'd say Siouxsie Sioux's definitely dommed in her time. There's probably a few others who emerged at that time as well, seeing as a lot of the first UK punks were from the London fetish scene.

There was a BBC documentary called "Punk and the Pistols" a few years back in which Sioux described walking into a pub in full Domme gear with a collared, leashed slave on all fours. She would then calmly order a drink for herself and a bowl of water for her 'dog', which he'd greedily lap up. It was never clear whether she was describing an actual scene or a fantasy of hers, but she described it with real relish. Elsewhere in the documentary, one of the old punks described a squat where a lot of them stayed, one of the features of which was "Siouxsie's whip marks on the ceiling".

Also, I'm betting Janet Jackson's been there and done it in her time, too.
