Check with BIL about what youre going to get, beforehand?

Mind you, I find it a bit difficult to understand the lack of grace his attitude shows, if I read it correctly?

I mean, if someone bought my kids knives or something, I might throw a fit, but otherwise I dont see why a dad should be bothered by someone buying his kids stuff. Unless he's unable or unwilling to provide stuff himself of course and feels embarassed?

I suggest giving them to the BIL, as if you dont mind me saying, it sounds like he needs some education himself.

he is smart and happy - but knowing his parent when he gets older he will likely experiment w booze etc. he needs to fall back on something larger then attitude. his dad comes from a family w money so the illusion is important. my outlook is the fancy people still leave turds--- so there ya go.,

LMAO!!!  well in recent yrs he got serious- he brings home a good check- im sure my sister would have thrown him out if he continued his "im a wild teen ager" phaze.

tho my sister works VERY HARD. i did tell her about the 10 years she would need to collect on his check per social security. i gAVE HER THE LECTURE oops about pensions sn such. not to try to separate them but strictly so she can make good choices if she so wishes.

seems females carry a disproportionate share of the burden!!!

men dont have to grow up cos the lady will bail him out..... argh!
