For us a part of the ethics of being a responsible bdsm practitioner is not imposing your kink on unsuspecting non participants. Public nudity seems tame compared to many of our interests but to some vanilla citizen it may not be cute at all.

Going to places where people have self selected their tolerance to your specific kink can work.... Having your male slave sit in the audience of a strip club nude or stand in the men's room naked is at least not gonna be pushing some vanilla prude and/or their spawn over the edge and might engender the sort of humiliation desired.

We think that since we want the right to practice our bdsm and sexuality under the law that we should act responsibly and encourage our peers to do the same.

My thoughts? There is a variety of places reserved for public nudity and it would be best to save nudity for those places. I realize this isn't as hot as risking being caught by the unsuspecting public, but it also doesn't involve the unsuspecting public.

Having grown up on a clothing optional beach, this just pushes no buttons for me. But I am curious is you were shamed for running around nude at a tender age? I simply can't imagine what else would cause this to be such a thrill.

I'd like to live in a world where nudity was considered just another fashion choice and quite appropriate for certain temperatures. 

But as I don't, I generally only choose to operate nude in places I know won't cause others discomfort- my home, play parties, nudist areas, kink events and the like.

Yeah, I can understand the sentiments now that I am a bit older..I guess I kind of feel the same way....I do get a little amazed at how people freak out on the idea of any type of nudity "outside" ....No necking or petting or fucking in cars?....No fucking on the green at you local country club?...Or a beach?....In the waters of Lake Bloomington?
Getting head or some pussy on the rocks of Lake Michigan?...short skirt and no panties when out and about?

There was a some protest here in Sacramento at the state capitol building and all these people ran thru capitol park naked and then the cops chased them to some mall and they still got away.

I almost joined that circus because it looked like so much fun to just say fuck it and go buck naked right on the steps of the capitol.

But it's just as well I did not take part because getting arrested for something like that would put a damper on my future pranks.

It's hard to wave goodbye in handcuffs.

These posts have made me rethink my past actions. I think from now on I’ll limit these activities to the deep woods…off trail if at all… there is even a 1000-acre nudist area a day’s drive I may try. I would like to say that I have never sprung myself on the unsuspecting public. In fact no one has ever seen me… I have always seen them first…my idea was to be outside nude…not to be seen…but there was always that chance even if small and it did give me the thrill I’ll have to admit.

As to why I liked it…I’ve no idea...it is not my main thing or something I do very often. I am not a believer that everything people do is based on something that happened when they were children. Most reading this message have done things outside of the norm and I’ll bet they would be hard pressed to explain why they do it or like it. Many do things that are still illegal in a lot of states.

All that said the general consensus to my question is that is not appropriate…and I think I will have to agree.

Unfortunately, the law does not. If you are 'indecently exposed' in a public area. The charge is "Indecent Exposure". Not so bad?
"Indecent Exposure" charge history, gets you your own place of fame on the

sorry, but unless you were somehow capable of seeing everything around you, I don't think you can know that for sure.

I try and be a "live and let live" type, but I really don't want to inadvertantly come across someone else's naked body while in the course of my daily activities.  chances are they won't be built like a model, will have a farmer tan, a pot belly, saggy boobs (male or female) a crotch with a beard and gawd knows what else.  I've got too much on my mind generally to have to walk around worrying whether or not that's going to happen.

nudity I'm prepared for, like in a club or dungeon or whatever, that I can live with.  but I don't want it sprung on me accidentally.

Ugh.  I hope you run across a beautiful woman and her very large boyfriend one of these days.  And he beats you up a bit before she calls the cops on her cell phone.

There's no excuse for doing that to people.  I don't see nudity as inherently bad but running around on a leash for the thrill of possibly getting caught sexualizes it - if you want to be naked go to a nude beach.  Or tan in your own backyard.

Everyone's all like "what if my kids had seen it" and I agree with that, but even if the person who you end up exposing yourself to is of legal age, they still have every right to have you arrested.  And I doubt the cops would mind a few well placed kicks.  Battery charges somehow don't seem to stick against people accused of sex crimes.

Don't get caught up in the whole 'oh its not consensual' and 'for god sake think of the children' (but god forbid we actually call them that because UMs makes it soooooo much safer a word to use [8|]) blergh that some people feel they have to spout.
Yeah, its not legal - that is what makes it hot for some people.
Yeah, you might get caught - again - makes some people hot.
 
Don't be surprised you get verbally beat up by people who see it as a boo-boo to do-do and start crying on the legalities when over half the stuff they participate in isn't legal either.  Just remember to accept the consequences of your actions and go from there.

When did nudity become so taboo?  He's not saying that he's gonna run up to strangers and rub himself all over them.  Haven't any of you seen someone nude at a time when you didn't expect it and laughed and found it funny?  I have and the last thing that would enter my mind would be to call the cops.

The way I see it is that everyone does something rude sometimes. The question is what you want to be rude about and being informed.

While I love being naked, I enjoy it in a non-sexual manner in situations where I know everyone is accepting of it. When you are naked in situations where the idea of being discovered excites you sexually, it isn't about being naked, it's about getting hot and bothered. Which involves people who haven't consented to be part of your sexuality.

Now, if I ran across you naked with little ones in tow in a park, I would call the cops. If I ran across you with little ones in tow on a tail, I would tell them how stupid it is to hike without protective clothing and that we don't do that because it is rude to the other people who are trying to enjoy the trail.

Are you a child molester? No. You aren't. By my book, it's just rude. If you want to be that particular rude guy (as opposed to the rude guy who talks in the movie theater or the parents who won't take their children out of the theater when they have been screaming for 30 minutes [:'(]) , go for it. But people are going to treat you a certain way based on your actions. I'm honestly not trying to beat you up because I don't think you deserve it.

There is a huge difference between someone who is jacking off outside of my hotel room window....and someone topless on a boat as they head out of the harbor into Lake Michigan....Unfortunately I have seen the former...And thank God for the latter...And yes there were kids around and they saw the women's breasts. 

I would love to know what tv shows all of you prudes let your kids watch...Do any of you ever remember being young yourself?  How old were you the first time you saw porn?  Or the first time you saw a porno...Or the first time you touched a tit or got "felt up?".....If the kids are real young it is pretty much going to go over their heads unless "you" as the parent make a big stinking deal over it...If the kids are heading towards ten years old...They have seen enough music vids, tv shows...Or other crap that is prevalent and readily available in society today or have a pretty good idea of all types of sexual shit from having discussions with their fellow classmates...From  "my space" to internet chatrooms sex thrives and goes undetected by most caring parents...You are all fooling yourselves.

I've gone swimming in state parks naked, been naked while camping. I've been sailing while topless. Once I totally lost my bikini bottom while water-skiing [:D] . But I'm pretty confidant that I didn't leave a wake of emotionally scarred innocents strewn behind me.

The nudity was only half the equation, the other half was being on a leash. Don't want my um's exposed to that.  What we do might be illegal but at least when we do it we don't drag other people into it that have not consented. 

kdsub i don't think you are a bad person who is perverted or any such thing. By the tone of your posts you sound pretty sincere and upfront.  i don't think you intended to put anyone in harms way.  You need to weigh how important this kink is to you and make your decisions from there.

As for doing thing illegal, if you drive and step over the limit, you are dragging other people into your law breaking - there is no difference.  You sneeze because you caught a cold because of something you did whilst playing with your partner - you are infecting people against their consent.  Really - consent becomes a complete non issue if you delved deeply enough into the consequences of what we do or what anyone does - even outside of BDSM.  Start delving that deeply, and no one should even be breathing.

Lets get into the whole being responsible for your actions or not and accepting what you do may and probably does involve non consent of a third party - instead of saving the children and anyone else. Anyone who thinks that what they do doesn't touch someones life who doesn't consent is fooling themselves.
