leg cramping and chills doesn't typically indicate shock. I would tend to think you are jumping the gun just a bit...leg cramping could be a vitamin deficiency or restless leg syndrome, for example, and the chills could be your body's reaction to the pain of the cramping. Typical signs of shock: drop in blood pressure, cold and clammy skin, pale color, cyanosis (blue discoloration around eyes, fingernail beds, lips, sweaty skin, weak and or rapid pulse, irregular breathing (shallow or rapid or both), muscle weakness, confusion, lethargy, nausea, unconciousness. (it usually take a few of these symptoms...only one or two could be a myriad of issues) Of course if you truly believe you are in shock, you probably aren't because those in shock don't really realize it. Though...always err on the side of caution and go to the ER or call 911 if you are that ill...
