Those nuts I don't know how to spell - pistachios?
Wild squirrel - by the time you skin it and fry it up, there's not really anything left but bone.

I love the work in sunflower seeds...means I can't eat them til I puke em *S*

edited to add...if all foods required that much work I'd only weigh 90 lbs. *S*

Hickory nuts; absolutely delicious, but more like breaking rocks on a prison chain gang to shell them.

Wallnuts, they require tools and patience.

chin-nuts....they only give you an ounce or two of fluid after all that sucking.....

oh sorry...ummm....isn't that what pre-shelled nuts are for? just pour them into your mouth....instant gratification....ahhhh

Crab legs....way too much work...and mudbugs...all that for a tiny peice of meat...bleh.....

When it comes to raw oysters Im glad Im a girl...rarely have I ever had to shuck my own oysters, I just sit on a stool with a can of beer and a bottle of hot sauce and guys just shuck them right into my mouth.....(we do these huge 50lb bags of them...just lightley steamed, not even enough to get them open....amazing....I love hunting trips)

if you're working for crawfish you're doing it all wrong....you just pull off the tail and bite out the meat....and suck the heads if you really want to....eww....i can go through about 5 in a minute if i am not talking while eating them....

edited to add: theres this event in San Antonio called the Fiesta Oyster Bake...durring Fiesta...lol...which is sometime durring April usually (week and a half long city wide party basically) where you can go down and suck on oysters - raw, steamed or baked by the bucket full with a bunch of drunk college kids for next to nothing....i don't like oysters enough to want to take a beer shower...

Mmmmmmmmmmmm crawdads!

Too much work to eat........I am thinking. Peanuts in the shell. Messy and I don't really like them much anyway.
