Anyone else see the New York Philharmonic live broadcast on PBS of YoYo Ma playing Dvorak's Cello Concerto? It will be rebroadcast several times this week, so check your local listings.

Watching the intensity and emotion he puts into his playing makes me wish I could put that much into my flogging...

WEll, OK......i'm a penis(t)....musicians take an abstract graphical language and translate that into the full range of human emotions in conjunction with the mechanical aspects of a musical instrument. ( those of us that play from the written scores)
Consider your flogger an instrument - an extension of your soul. Take that aspect and begin to translate your strokes rhythmiclly to (on) your partner. Not easy to do at first. Try working with some of your favorite music to help build up your technique and personal style. Good Luck and happy flogging.
