Greetings:

What would atract me to a Misstress

While I am a male sub the fallowing is what I would like to see in a Lady-Domme.

Allot of these traits are not just for Dommes but as a person. Being a Domme is just one aspect of that person.

And those to me are:

Kindness, open mindedness, common sense, humor, knowledge of ones self, listener, strength of will, & inner strength, spontaneous. and I am sure there are others.

I personally just want a Lady/Domme that knows what She wants out of life and is wishing to share that with a guy that is willing to subject himself to Her, not as She sees fit, but as a partner in a life that they both enjoy.

Hey guys,

I appreciate the brief exchange on smoking as I believe it brings that whole gray area into play that interweaves the vanilla, the partnership portion of relations and wiitwd together.  It also points out that the dynamic is so very personal between two people.  I am a BBW and for many that is as hard a limit as smoking and it can bring up all kinds of judgments and purely asthetic triggers. Thanks for defining the nuances in a very well thought out and thoughtful way -and imo all sides are quite valid.

And I will throw one more topic or variable into the mix. Athough a Dom/me may have an health imperfection that they grapple with which behavior, will power and choice can improve upon, I encourage keeping an open mind.  I posted a Q on the general board sometime ago asking for opinions on whether a sub could be a personal trainer to a dom/me and the dynamic remain intact.  The opinions were quite varied.  Once again just food for thought.

Ocilla,
I think you raise a valid issue and concern.

I don't expect perfection as I don't have it to offer.  There are many areas in which I'm very flexible when it comes to what I'd be looking for (if I were looking).  When I met Majik, I didn't have a specific "ideal" that I was looking for, only basic compatibility, and I then tried to let things work themselves out from there with her guidance.  As long as a Domme can recognize her strengths and weaknesses as well as mine, and know how to utilize them to our best advantage, I wouldn't have a problem with that; especially if it (the logic behind it) were eventually explained to me to help me better understand it and more importantly understand my role in the big picture and what is expected of me in making my contribution to the success of the relationship. [;)]

I think both can learn from each other in many different ways.  Often it's a matter of choosing the right communication style that works best for the two of you. [&:]

I used to do all the things as you wrote above in your question. I don't any more. If you give yourself (emotionally) to someone and have the door slammed in your face enough times you stop wanting to be that open and honest.

Preach it, sister......

uhhhh....Mistress Sister.
