That happened to a friend of mine when he was about 40. His GF was sitting in the car and he said "Hold on", went out and got her and said to the clerk "Say that again". He was full of himself for days. What gets me though is the ID required for so many other things. I went to get an ink cartridge for the printer and tried to use a credit card. I didn't have a picture ID so I couldn't. Now come on, if I had stolen the CC I would not be buying an ink cartridge, I would be buying the whole store. And then even if you pay cash, alot of places require an ID for a refund. Fact is, some places require it, period. If for beer it might be company policy or a restriction by the government. For a CC, they pay a lower rate if they require ID sometimes. I can see it at places that sell pricey items, music stores, certain other things, but when the corner store or a gas station does it, I think it is ridiculous. T
