Hello and greetings from the mountains of B.C. I am, as you might imagine, quite new to the whole BDSM scene; it just never occurred to me that it might be something I should investigate, and since I hadn't encountered anyone involved with the lifestyle, I didn't have access to anyone who might have been experienced enough to point out that there might be something in BDSM for me. So until quite recently, I had no idea; luckily I ran into a pair of dommes who almost instantly picked up on... well, I don't know, something in my personality that twigged their radars. I'm still quite amazed they were able to sense something in me that I'd never even conceived, but thankful too. So, I started out learning to be a submissive, and my experience so far has been positive; still, after picking the brains of the domme I chose to see and doing a lot of thought, it seems that I'm a switch -- I do have some significant domination fantasies that I'd like to explore. Perhaps in time I'll begin to lean one way or the other, but for right now I guess I'd best learn how to handle both roles. Any suggestions or advice for a new face around these parts?
