As the description of this section states, this area is open to the asking of questions, and sharing of opinions and information, on the wide variety of toys, clothing, devices, equipment, furniture, etc. of interest to those involved in the BDSM scene. This suggests currency not future?

Now amid the doom and gloom of Global Warming there is a significant fact that as a world we are utilising forms of heavily carbonised fossil fuels that we currently make/obtain plastics and the like from. Most forms of BDSM apparel (which I believe can include some 'finished' true leathers) utilise fossil oil.
I am seeking peoples' input on what could be utilised for BDSM apparel production.
A future whole new slant on say Pony Play? "I've got this perfect aging black pony at home earmarked for the tannery!"
