THE "TAKING" CEREMONY
Master: We are here to be joined as Master and slave and to take or vows as such. woman, come before me in silence, make yourself naked and assume the position of rest.
The woman removes ALL of her clothing, jewelry and other body adornment. She comes before Master sitting on her heels, legs wide and resting her hands (palms up) on her legs and maintains absolute silence with her eyes lowered.
Master: woman, it is time for your interrogation. Do you come before me to be joined as Master and slave, to become my property?
slave: Yes, Master
Master: woman, have you any reservations about entering into this relationship?
slave: No, Master
Master: woman, do you enter into this relationship fully and of your own free will?
slave: Yes, Master
Master: woman, you may now interrogate your Master.
slave: Yes, Master. Master, have you any reservations about entering into this relationship?
Master: No, woman.
slave: Master, do you accept my petition to be your slave of your own free will?
Master: Yes, woman.
Master: woman, have you brought the symbols of your previous relationships that you wish me to bless and accept?
slave: Yes, Master
Master: Present them to me.
The woman presents her future Master with any symbols from previous relationships she wishes him to place on her and in so doing bless that relationship. For each symbol, the slave says: slave: Master, I beg that I be permitted to wear this symbol which reflects (she explains the relationship and its meaning to her).
Master: woman, I place this symbol on your body and in so doing bless and accept its meaning
Master: woman, have you brought the symbols of your submission to me?
slave: Yes, Master
Master: Present them to me. The woman now assumes the supplicating slave position with her forehead on the floor, her knees at a right angle while she kneels so that her butt is raised high, her legs spread so all can see her. She presents her future
Master with the necklace of ownership, the collar of submission and the leash of control, one at a time, saying for each: slave: Master, I beg that I be permitted to wear this symbol.
The Master takes the symbols and holds them until all symbols have been placed in his hands.
Master: "I (given name of male) take thee (given name of female) to be my slave and my property. I shall love, honor, protect, nurture, discipline and cherish you as my slave." ... slave, stand and receive your symbols of ownership.
The slave stands with her legs wide, facing the Master, crossing her wrists behind her back her eyes lowered and observing silence except when she has an assigned statement. As soon as she is properly positioned, she says:
slave: "I (given name of female) take thee (given name of male) to be my
Master and Owner. I shall love, honor, obey and be the property of my Master until death do us part or until my Master and Owner sells or gives me as property to another."
The Master then takes the necklace of ownership and places it about her neck, saying:
Master: slave, with this necklace of ownership, I take possession of you and command that you never remove this so long as I am your Owner. With his necklace, I pledge my vows as your Master slave: Master, I thank you for providing me with this necklace of ownership and pledge never to remove it as long as I remain your property and by accepting this necklace of ownership, I pledge my vows as your slave and property.
The Master then takes the collar of submission and the leash if control and places the collar about her neck and attaches the leash, saying:
Master: slave, with this collar I command your submission and with this leash I impose my control on you. slave: Master, I thank you for accepting my submission and consenting to control me Master: We are now Master and slave. slave, prepare to be whipped.
The slave drops immediately to her knees, legs wide, places her forehead to the floor, her arms over her head with her palms up, and her derriere raised in the air. The Master whips her as he chooses.
