Tsks tsk-they are going to be saying we aren't "twue" any minute now. This is SUCH a lackluster performance-it will never DO.

People are entities in constant flux. I get a bit pissy when folks seem to think they can be classified as constants-that's just irrational. And ignores the reality of humanity.

well.... I was Male when I was born... me thinks I will be Male when I die... that is pretty constant I think......

oh yeah... when I was born... I was alive ... and you know what... I am still alive after all these years... hell there is another constant.

mmmmmm well taxes seem to be a constant thing too...........

Yup it's all just irrational stuff...

Why don't you ask a gay person how long he or she has been gay, and whether this gayness is in a state of flux...are they gayer some days than others...

I am submissive and masochistic, and have been since I before I was even sexually aware. Although I have grown in my awareness of my sexual orientation, and the expressions of it have changed, the orientation in and of itself has not changed, and is definitely not in a state of flux.

Some parts of us are changeable; some are not. Believe me. I tried to change my sexual orientation for a long time, because I detested it. Been there, done that. It doesn't work. We are who we are. Some people take longer than others to discover who they are, but in general, I think those of us who lean strongly in one direction or another always have, and always will.

Some of our programming has to be overcome to reach the natural state. Others have to be learned as a coping method to allow it. Either represents change.

Yeah, don't sweat it.
Sub/Slave/Bottom
Master/Dom/Top

Semantics. It means what the person who identifies as it intends it to mean. No more or less. Isn't it great there are no universal rules or refarees waiting arounds to give you a foul for using the wrong word!
