Mmmmmmmm.. how to talk like a woman.  Have him use proper grammar, a good vocabulary and speak intelligently.

Is it wrong that the evil bitchy lesbian part of me snort laughed at this?

Tooooooooo bad!

Women often speak with more apologies and less certainty than men. (And should stop doing it!!) The upward, questioning intonation that LadyEllen refers to is part of this, and very common among young (under 35) women. A woman might say, "I'm sorry, but..." to begin a sentence, and use more words like "maybe," and "perhaps," and "or something," to reduce the impact of what she is saying. Women also tend to use more vocal pauses ("um," "er."). A head voice (tell him to whine like a puppy--that's how you find your head voice) can help, although what he really wants ultimately is a "mixed" register. Taking aspirants (like "h") lightly, and adding a bit of dental contact to the "t" and "d" (think of the French "t" and "d", if that helps--other Romance languages have it too, it involves touching the tip of the tongue to the backs of the upper teeth) makes the speech seem more delicate and feminine.
