One of the many reasons I find the entire concept of "soft limits" to be more confusing than clarifying.

Never is right up there with forever... and that depends on where you live... when I lived in Cali... forever was about 150 miles, OTOH... here in Indiana it's about 20 miles. (you know... get on such an such road and drive forever then turn left..)

Status: offline 		When I really want some one to know that something is NEVER going to happen, I'll use expressions such as When it snows on my Birthday in Texas or When Hell Freezes over. I'll sometimes even say "When the Cubs win the World Series"

The word "Never" so easily gets interprited as a challenge to keep trying.

I agree. I always said that I would never date a "fat guy", but we all see how well that worked out.......I mean, here we are planning a wedding and kids, never thought that one would happen
