quote:
Is Earth that last place for Life to die out and fade away from the universe? Or if life never existed through out the universe, is Earth the seed of life to grow accross our galaxy and beyond? If Earth is indeed the last place for Life to exist, can it make a come back or will it forever die away? Your thoughts on this concept of Life and Earth? I think that since the expanse of the universe is so vast and really is unable to be measured, to think that Earth would be the last bastion of life or the seed of life in the cosmos would be very arrogant of us. I guess it boils down to mathematical probability and the likelihood of other life out there. I believe that the odds favor it. In answer to the question if Earth is the last place for life and can it make a comeback, I believe that life as we know it has proven that it can adapt to most any circumstance and environment. There have been a few ice ages and life found a way to survive. Now, whether it will be life as we know it or not, that is an entirely different subject.
