Im with favesclava.....shoes....the answer is definantly shoes. Id say a pony but trust me once I realized how much bloody work they are...I really have no use for overgrown lawn ornaments anymore. More cattle would be nice. I love cattle. Id love for extreme home makeover to come remodel my house, it was built in the 20's by my great grandfather and I dont have the heart to level it to the ground and start over, but everytime I fix something I find something else thats falling apart. More closets, you can never have too many closets. A live in slave...Id love to have one of those (if anyone knows of any please send them my email...Id like a nice service slave, preferably nice looking, not gorgeous model type, just cute and attractive....would have their own room, help with the household chores, sex doesnt have to be involved but definantly a plus...I can be as strict or as leniant as you really want me to be, Im easy, as long as you wash my dishes for me Id be happy)

Chocolate.

It's that simple.

I posted elsewhere about some chocolate I make with rasberries and Chambord, and telling my son that it is better than rohypnol.

My gender and women's studies studying daughter punched me.

It is all good.

Its resolved then?

Women want Sinergy's chocolate recipes.

Possibly also, Sinergy himself might not be a bad accompaniment - but only if he wears the kilt.

Kim Addonzio is entertaining but light weight. Her poetry makes time fly and is great to read with a whiskey but her work doesn't rattle in your head and give you deeper insights into the human condition.

*ear perks*  Did someone say whiskey?

Regarding the OP - I assume each woman wants something different and I ask them when in doubt.  I'd rather be seen as clueless and willing to learn, than arrogant and all-knowing.

I don't know about the rest of you but:

WHEN I AM AN OLD WOMAN I SHALL WEAR PURPLE

With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Taken from the book
When I Am An Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple

I don't know about most women, but I simply want one relatively attractive, energetic, intlligent man who can be my cook, whore, and companion.
And of course more pretty, relatively comfortable leather shoes.     M

That's one hot poem about that dress. I want to be the one who rips it off the author.

I like the poem LS posted.

When I'm old - and I already have my name on the local waiting list for this - I'm going to be the mad cat lady who keeps dozens of felines in my untidy and filthy home. I'm going to let my hair get all tangled and shout at people in the street, but love my kitties.

i think most women really want is a feeling of security, however that happens for them..... and for things to match.

In my experience what a woman wants is what she doesn't have.
Other than that, speaking as a male, how the hell should I know what a woman wants.
The moment you give her what she wants, she wants something else.

I've given up trying to work out the female sex.

Grant me the grace of ignorance, as I am perusing this thread current-to-oldest

> The moment you give her what she wants, she wants something else.

Hmmm. Ok, So... How do YOU respond, to a goal having been reached?

not as............ whore, cook, housemaid and bearer of their children.

See, this is what happens when you give them the vote:
they get all uppity and think they're entitled to a conversation.........

Man/woman is getting too complicated for my liking
....they should come with instructions like a table or something...
...e.g. "I need attention and conversation"
...if this isn't for you, you can send her back without getting her out of the box.....

"I am a whore, cook, housemaid and bearer of children".

....that's more like it.

.....my only deliberation would be
moving bearer of children to number 3 in the pecking order,
and housemaid down one.

You are wise beyond your years [however many might be thy 'years']

Yeppers, children do make a significant impact upon housekeeping.

Aah... but if does't play thy partner appropriately...
can save a bundle [generically] on 'dairy products'.

Now I'll get serious.  I think women want security most of all. Someone they can count on.

(... to bring them chocolate:)
