So you're walking down the street, doing your daily stuff or just out struting your wonderful self. ipod buds in your ear, and a song comes on, causing your feet to pick up in tempo, you nod your head a wee bit, a feeling of superiority comes over you for some reason or another. That my friends would be my definition of a Theme song. Your very own.
Mine would be: Violent Femmes-Big Hands.
Because A) I do blister in the sun..Curse of the white skinned. B) I do strut my stuff. C) I love em big.

What would yours be?
Why?
And posting lyrics would be love.

Good choices.

When I was a wee lass, I thought the lyrics went.
"Pour some sugar romen."
XD

Mine would be Standin Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks

We call them cool
Those hearts that have no scars to show
The ones that never do let go
And risk the tables being turned

We call them fools
Who have to dance within the flame
Who chance the sorrow and the shame
That always comes with getting burned

But you've got to be tough when consumed by desire
'Cause it's not enough just to stand outside the fire

We call them strong
Those who can face this world alone
Who seem to get by on their own
Those who will never take the fall

We call them weak
Who are unable to resist
The slightest chance love might exist
And for that forsake it all

They're so hell-bent on giving ,walking a wire
Convinced it's not living if you stand outside the fire

Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire

There's this love that is burning
Deep in my soul
Constantly yearning to get out of control
Wanting to fly higher and higher
I can't abide
Standing outside the fire

Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire

Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire

mine would have to be 'Hate me' by Blue October, it took me a long time to realize that just because i am who i am i can still be loved. my mother being Catholic more or less washed her hands of me when i was a teenager after i tried to confide in her about my sexual preferences, she screamed and said i was 'dirty' & so i settled for that and have lived the 'vanilla' life ever since until i met Sir two months ago. blah blah blah lol. sorry my fingers ran away with the keyboard. - theres alot more to it, i drank, got into drugs after my mother dismissed me..the song just seems to fit.

"Hate me today..hate me tomorrow..hate me for all the things I didnt do for you."

To me, its like he's saying "
Call me when you get off that cross."

From what you just posted, yeah, it really suits you.

Mine would be "Bitch" by Alanis Morrisette

"I'm a little bit of everything
All rolled into one

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover
I'm a child, I'm a mother
I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed
I'm your hell, I'm your dream
I'm nothing in between
You know you wouldn't want it any other way"

Royal's Love Is Murder

why - love the 3 guitar rock sound and hot lead on vocals ...and the band performed one HOT, exciting, energized set during their Chicago appearance

"...i'll do anything for you ...i'll kill anyone for you..."
