I don't recommend ever using a numbing-aid for anal sex! It's really not a good idea; if it hurts, you shouldn't be doing it that way! That area is both sensitive and delicate...I believe you should FEEL exactly what is going on there. While LOTS OF LUBE is imperative, just like using smooth objects is imperative, you should be able to feel what's happening. Besides; it's a good thing! Or a finger…or a toy… How does somebody get to be an adult and not have played with their butt at least enough to discover if they like the feeling or not?

You might want to get some toys and maybe a butt plug just to get used to the feeling, get various sizes and different shapes to see which feels best for you, oh and have a wank whilst you have something up there, it feels great

Anal play is a rarity for me, but when I do I tend to be sore for a day or two afterwards and I don't poop for a few days. It's not unusual for me to bleed some as well, no matter how much lube is used. But after a few days, I'm all back to normal.

The first time i was treated to anal, my mate used one finger for a while then added another and so on, till i stretched out a bit. Then when he did use me anally it wasn't so bad. You have got to stretch, can't express that enough. I have never torn from such good preperation of my anus before hand. As like almost every one else said, cleanlyness, it's important. And pleanty of lube. Afterwards, my bowls could be a little lose one time and i would be a little sore. But the pleasure one gains from the session is so tremendous that it doesn't even compair to anything else and one forgets the soreness after a day or two but remembers the joy. I found the aftermath of anal sex to be worse than the act the first time...I could barely leave the bathroom without running back to go more. Giving myself an enema before anal play or anal sex makes it soooo much more enjoyable, cleaner and then I don't have to poop for hours.

As far as being a guy goes, there are really only positive benefits... but I'm sure you'll discover those in due time! Most of the people have touched on the keys - slow and slippery wins the race. You might feel like you have to poop for a while afterwards... even though nothing will come out. That feeling will pass. You may also be a little tender for a few days, but it will just be a lingering reminder of the experience. You should write back and tell us how it went!

Go to the drugstore and buy an anal syringe. It's an anal douche. A full enema isn't really necessary to get things clean since most insertables aren't long enough to reach the colon. i agree with others...you should be inserting your own fingers, getting yourself used to the sensation and explore your body a bit. Butt plugs are a good idea. After anal play there can be a feeling of fullness or a even a little nausea. It passes. i would never use a numbing cream as first, it doesn't just numb you it numbs everything it comes in contact with and second, pain will let you know if something is wrong. Just relax.
