As breatheasone said, "Total Power Exchange".  Typically, it's idealized as a slave giving up all of her rights and limits to her Master.  It's more often approximated (and used in this approximate sense) as a slave giving up the great majority of her rights while retaining relatively few limits.

"Total Power Exchange" is an idea and an ideal seldom actualized, but much discussed and dreamt of.  To my mind, it is a goal, that when adopted by a couple in a D/s relationship, probably marks the boundary between "submission" and "slavery".

I believe that "The Power Exchange" refers to Congress.

Status: offline 		It really  seems to be one of the most challenging  and frustrating aspects of relationships out here. While the express certainly conjures up ideas of total control over another, many  out here simply are not prepared to go through with it when  someone expects this in a realtionship.

For example, one Mistress I know , wants the slave(not sub) to  give up control of their personal  and financial  possessions. That everything would go into her accounts and that if it didn't work out , he would have nothing but what was given to him while in servitude. That is not everyones interpertation of TPE, but you can see how challenging that would be for someout here. Sometime when looking through profiles , take a look at how long some have been seeking this kind of relationship.. Not an easy search for most out here..NOt IMPOSSIABLE...just not an easy one.

Well a real question was handled in a jesting manner by most. Simply ponder thedepth answers and you will have a fundamental understanding, but note there are degrees in everything so the word "total" may well be a misnomer.
