i know i know.. a man trying to pick out his woman some lingere is usualy not going to end well...
however, that is why i came here for help and recommendations.
basically im looking to spice up her wardrobe as she has mostly vanilla clothing and lingerie. i taught i might start with some side tied thongs, and a bra to compliment the thong. possibly even a few latex items to get her comfortable with wearing those as well. my girl is not a full blown submissive/kinkster, more so exploring her interests, so the last thing i want to do is turn her off from her kinky side.
any advice or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm, what to wear, what to wear, what to wear.

Well, for me I am the type of guy who just LOVE to go shopping with my girls. I see from you post that this is a beginners wardrope. Personally I like to find stuff that fit's her. Something that enhances her body ... and that can be very different from woman to woman. What do you want to bring out in her? What colors works for her?
I have a hard time to find anything that really fits my wife due to her (very nice) figure. Also she has extremely narrow feet, which makes it's close to impossible to find shoes for her.

So I would strongly suggest you go try something on. Many times it looks good online or in a catalog, but when she get's it on? - or the quality is not what you thought what is was. But online is a good place to get ideas.

even ebay has some reasonable stuff.

Take her with you.  Let her try the things you like on and show them to you.  Make it a game, so when she does see something You like ,she would be more apt to accept it.

i think i will start with just the side tieing thongs, and if the same website has some, a  latex thong/bra or skirt as well..
to answer a earlier question, she has brunette hair, green eyes, and an average figure.

does annyone know of a place that sels quality side tieing thongs? like everything else, im sure that there are quality ones avalible and then some less than desireable brands. if annyone could point me in the direction of a quality company or store where i could get some of these, i would greatly appreciate it. the only place localy i can think of that might carry these is a porn shop which would mean its overpriced and quality still might be sub-par.

Not sure if they have the side tied thongs, but i love Fredricks of Hollywood.   They have some really beautiful and not too kinky corsets.  In fact, there is one that i really love beacuse it is not cup specific and can be adjusted easily to fit a variety of bust/ribcage sizes....just find out what the band size is on her bra and go from there.  Its called the Hollywood Dream Corset:

Absolutely, go together! What better way than to spend the day in public playing dress up with your pet. The suggestion on corsets I agree with 100% as well, I have yet to see any size lady that one does not look good on.

Corsets are a wonderful thing. My pet in the near future will be wearing one nearly full time. Aside from when she's outright nude, of course. [:)]

I've never seen then not improve the appearance of a female body. They improve posture (great for those with back problems). And they are one of those articles of clothing that can apply either to a dominant or submissive role equally well, depending on context.
