Ya'll are full of great advice and suggestions, and well wishes thank you! Coffee shops are a great idea, too! Thanks, Aileen. feastie, thanks for the advice about nuts and nut oils, and potential allergen lablelling. KMsAngel, thanks for the kind words. I am so excited! I just sighed up to be a food-vendor exhibitor at one of the Mid-west's largest Holiday boutique and craft shows, the week-end of Nov. 1-4th. I can't believe I forgot about direct mail and brochures! I even used to work (briefly) for a direct mail marketing list company, too. Guess I am thinking about a lot, lately. This week-end, when my friend comes over to get a feel for how I want my website to look when she designs it, I am going to ask her if she will help me design a brochure (or at least a foldable flyer, with an order form attached), so I can have something to send potential corporate account customers. I need to look into printing and mailing costs for that idea. That may have to wait until next week, though (this week is already full of stuff to do! hehe). Wow - if I could mail those brochures by like the 2nd week in November (or sooner), that would be great. I know list companies will sell mailing lists of names, addresses and the name of a key corporate contact person for as little as .15 cents a name (or less, sometimes) - but quality in this case matters, as far as the information you get, so I might pay more. A 2-3% return, in terms of sales, is considered pretty high and doing well, in the Marketing world, for direct mail marketing - so I can count on buying hundreds of list names. Well - in a few minutes, I am off to the bank to open up a corporate account. I am gonna be spending a few dollars getting this venture started - pray for me that I make some as well (I am confident, but a prayer or two never hurts!). Thanks for the good ideas and support ya'll! - Susan
