This place is pretty different from TSR, but I thought there might be some of you on here in a TPE relationship.

I am fairly new to this world, but I do belong to someone. To those who are in this kind relationship, I have a question.

"What does a sub/slave/property get out of the relationship?"

I ask this question because it was something that I asked my owner, so he put me to the task of writing a paper on it, explaining others views that I found, and how I felt about them. I thank you for taking the time to write back to me, it is greatly appreciated.

Hello Tarwyn

I am in a TPE like you are asking about. i personaly have to ask permission for pretty much everything. You ask what do we get out of it. i personally craved this type of relationship. i crave to be so owned you can not tell where my Master starts and i end. i craved this type of life choice, not because i am a weak person or not smart enough to make my own choices but because i am smart enough to do so. i am smart enough to know what makes me happy and whole.

My Master wanted a total slave, one who answers for anything she does to him. All things i do i do for him, whether its cooking dinner or taking care of our kids or cleaning his house. i am fullfiled by knowing i have made his life easier by taking care of all that is needed for when he comes home from work he can enjoy his family time. This type of life choice makes me whole. it is also my choice to enter it, after that any choice made is by him.

You can not just walk into this lifestyle and decide you want a TPE with just anyone. It takes a lot of time, work and a deep seeded need to make it work. Don't get me wrong, there are times i want to scream, and times i will ask to speak freely to voice my opinion. i may not always get that right, but he knows there is a problem and will address it sooner or later. it is not the easiest way to live a life, but it is also one of the easiest ways to live. You must also trust 1000% in your Owner that he will always try to do what is best for you. Each person has a different reason for choosing to live in a TPE. But the bottom line is always the same. It fills a need in a slave and in the Owner to have such control.

i am in a TPE relationship.

i get to be myself. i get to be cared for and protected. i get to practice something i have always had a hard time with- trust- and allow that to take me into a deeper understand of myself, my Sir, and life in general.

TSR is the company that created Dungeons & Dragons. They were bought by Wizards of the Coast a few years back.

And for the record, I play neither D&D nor Magic. I'm just hopped up on flu medicine and a font of trivia.

I can only speak for myself, of course, but what I get is everything good. Think of anything positive, productive, and wonderful that anyone could gain from any close, loving relationship and then multiply that by 100. That's what I get from my relationship with Master.

Then, in addition, to ALL that........I get to submit and serve. I get to be myself and do all the things that I need to do that so many others in my life have found unacceptable or were not interested in. I get the joy of knowing I belong to the greatest Man I have ever known and that I always will. That's security and that's the most comforting feeling I've ever known.

I get to learn from Him and please Him each and every day. In short, I get bliss

I get being myself and happiness out of it. It is what I want to do and am happy doing it. I don't spend all day chained at his side. TPE means more than all power all the time. I make alot of my own decisions in day to day things but he always has the final say.

I grow and thrive in this type of relationship and am the most happy. I get to be me and make him happy. So it works for us.

No it doesn't. As Bita said. He gives his dominance to me in return I give my submission. He gives the power in exchange I receive it and give my total submission.

.....no kidding and "Ditto!" DBG, type "TPE" into the search function and I'm sure you'll find this has been discussed before. "Exchange" is kind of a misnomer, I think. "Authority transfer" is more like it. You know what we mean. It doesn't have anything to do with switching

I get to dance around in my my own little world of my Daddy's making. I get to be everything I ever wanted to be, well, at least in our minds...and half of reality for me is perception. Sure, I serve Him, but that comes so naturally that it's less like work and more like a calling. I don't mean that serving comes naturally, but serving Him in particular comes naturally to me.

He's my rock when I need on and my cushy pillow when I need one of those too. The synamic of our relationship allows us to shift from one mode to the other rather fluidly. I know it sounds all romanticized when I'm writing it like this, but that's the way it is. I can be myself and so can He...even when we're not being ourselves. Role-playing is good for the spirit.

I suppose the bottom lime is that we fit like a key in a lock...it works.
