Is it just me or are there basicly two types of people that reply to posts

Those that respond - answering the from a logical, thought provoked state of mind

Those that react- answering from an emotional state of mind

I have noticed this in many various arenas, just curious as to the populace thoughts on the subject

Interesting question. . . .but I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. Sometimes my disgust. . .or delight prompts me to make a *cough* logical reply.

I would have to agree with Princess. I try to avoid purely emotional responses (I don't want to be more than half-crazed), but I have to take some kind of interest in the topic before I will respond.

Posts which are simply rhetoric or venom tend to annoy me. (although some are truly funny)

I'm right there with the rest of you, I need to feel some interest in the topic but try with everything within me to reason my position before responding.

And then there's the fourth type...those who are always rude and sarcastically respond to the opinions of other posts in the tread.

I think it depends on the issues being discussed. And the person's feelings on such. Some subjects don't invoke as passionate a responses as others.

There is a third response as well. Those who think the world is a joke.

Myself, I was a new person at one time too. I'm still learning so usually when I ask a question I want an answer. Not a bunch of people laughing because I am asking. Or sarcastic comments.

The questions being posed anymore since the board has been around a while. Most questions have been asked numerous times. So, some make jokes..or are sarcastic when answering where perhaps a year ago would have answered in a different fashion.

I try to keep emotions out of it...so far no post or response has ever angered me in any way.
