Greetings A/all ...
Recently I joined this site with the expressed intent of trying to fulfill an area in my life. I specifically mentioned in my profile that I was happily married and wished no male contact. Well you probably have figured by now that my mail box was flooded with messages from men. It fathoms the imagination that there are so many stupid, all knowing, self proclaimed doms (or is that dums) out there? I have read a lot of the threads on here and it seems that you all demand respect from your subs. However it has become quite apparent to the most casual of observers, that this is a one way street and you in your self proclaimed glory of masterhood can do as you please. Well I have some news for you ... I am a slave to my Master and I would not do anything to tarnish that relationship. He respects me enough and trusts me enough to allow me, his slave, to seek the DOMME I have only dreamed about ... to be able to fulfill my dream. Is that so hard for you ignorant and supremely stupid self proclaimed doms and wannabe's understand?? You guys really need to grow up!! You certainly can take a lesson from Him on mastery.

Wow....a bit harsh, don't you think? For other numerous rants on the same topic, please try the search button...or else perhaps proudsub could be persuaded to dig them up for you :)

Now for some practical advice, if you go into your mail controls and set it to only accept mail from dominant women.... voila', any other type of mail will go into your bulk email box, which you will never see unless you choose to look in it. This way, you won't get annoyed at receiving email you don't want, and we won't be annoyed at reading the same rants over and over and over and over....ad infinitum.

Thanks fate ... I didn't realize I could filter the incommong mail like that. As I said, I am totally new to this site. I didn't bother with searching prior threads on this topic. More or less my questions were designed to be of a rhetorical nature. I do agree, I might have been a little harsh, but, when you think about it, one should not have to filter their mail. One wishes should be respected. Nothing more and nothing less.

I understand your frustration, though. The mathematics of online personal ad sites are pretty interesting. The general rule seems to be that maybe percent (or less!) of the responses a person gets will actually be worth considering. The number is probably even lower for women, because they get so many resonses. I've talked to girls who posted an ad here and got over a hundred responses in the first day!. One has to wonder why that happens. Again, I think to some degree, it's numbers. First of all, men seem to a lot less discriminating. That's not everyone, but a survey of people on thise site would probably indicate that men are more likely to accept any woman who's willing. There are some guys here who seem desperate to make contact with any woman they can, and they don't seem to use very good judgment in their efforts to make that happen.

Ah, screw it. There are just a lot of horny, desperate guys here. And they know the odds are against them, so they resort to some questionable tactics that they think will increase their odds.

As I see it, there are only two ways to improve your odds of meeting up with a suitable partner here.

A) You can find some way to distinguish yourself from the crowd
B) You can put yourself "out there" for as many women as possible.

Personaly, I think the first way is a lot more likely to be successful. But face it, that takes effort, and it also assume that you have some skill or special characteristic that's going to set you apart. On this site, a very useful skill is the ability to write and communicate. That's not a skill a lot of people possess. Maybe we should increase funding for our schools so they can teach students to use proper English. We could require everyone to take a course or two in creative writing. Perhaps that would improve the situation.

Unfortunately, with the quality of public education and the popularity of text messaging, I'm afraid things will only continue to get worse. The next generation is going to be even less literate than the current one. And the most useful skill in finding a partner online will become even more scarce than it is already.

I guess the only conclusion I can come to is that the vast majority of clueless horny men will continue to send increasingly stupid and inappropriate messages to women like you in the futile hope that one of their randomly fired shotgun pellets finds its mark.

You should pity them, really. <smile>

It is a pain. I deleted my account here once and recreated it a few days later and got bombarded all over again...lol. A lot of people who are sending these types of emails are those who keep checking the "new members" list. They usually don't bother to read profiles, or send before the profiles are approved. They also aren't generally regular posters here on the message boards, and aren't likely to see your rant anyway.

At any rate, I think if you set your filters, you won't have anymore problems with it. It does work like a charm.

Thanks for responding Masterhyde. You do make some compelling thought. However after such an elaquent delivery, your colclusion seems to be short of the mark and not up to even your standards. You said:

If I am understanding you correctly I should take pity on these "gentlemen" for being clueless and horny. In essence they deserve pity because the "big head" cannot make the "little head" behave. Don't you find that ironic? Those in command and control of us have not the discipline to control themselves! LOL ... HERE'S YOUR SIGN

i think jenny does have a valid point, but i also think it shouldn't surprise her that many men think with the little head rather than the big one. the fact that some of us are Doms does not negate the fact we're still guys, and as such are sometimes brain dead. I, of course, would exclude Myself from that statement (i didn't proposition you, did i?). anyway, i guess i'm just saying don't expect more from someone of this gender just because they may be Dominant. for some, that just gives them the opportunity to be jerks on a totally different level. good luck in finding what you're looking for.

Well Jenny,

As already told, most of these guys messageing you are only trying, hopeing for the impossible to become possible. Is it really wrong for someone to to try one time just to see if your statements are true or a challenge?
When I see a sub that says they're happy with there master, then I figure "why should I message a couple that's not broken and dosen't need fixen?" and go about to the next profile. Ofcourse, my hands are full with the sub I have now so I myself am not looking. Anyways, I have been known to message a profile here and there that fully states "NO MEN." However, under those circumstances, the message is normally a question about something they are wearing or that is in there profile as well as giving them some advice in answering any stated to what they seek.

Instead of getting mad, perhaps you can feel flatterd. I'm lucky to get one message a month.

No matter which personals site you go to, men don't read profiles. They tend to see the picture <if there is one> and write in hopes of a positive outcome. I have gotten many emails..not the hundred or so you said. That is because of my age, I'm sure.

I have many times told the person to go back and read my profile then write me. Most, I have nothing in common with. Still, they don't get it..but that is the mind of a man..

I have a question for the OP Jennylu48

You say you are married to your Master & he has permitted you to seek out the Domme of your dreams & he doesn't have to be involved...

This kinda makes me scratch my head???

What makes either of you think that there are going to be a horde of Dommes out there chomping at the bit to accommodate an owned & married sub?

This sentiment often repulses most Dommes. The mere mention that we are being sought out to fulfill your own pursuit of personal kink is often one clear cut measure to get ignored.

If you are happy with your marriage & have no intension of involving your husband & this is all about satisfying your curiosity then you would be best to seek out the services of a professional that would not be offended by being used for serving your needs.

Please do not see my words as an attack, but maybe as a perspective you didn't consider.

You were angry & frustrated by the men that responded to your ad that did not consider your desire... well you have to consider that your desire may not appeal to the female dominants that read your profile or receive contact from you.

I know quite a few bi-females both in & out of the 'lifestyle' & I know many of them do not fancy the idea of accommodating curiosity.

I understand the frustration on this one, my girl recieves alot of mail from both dom and sub guys exactly how you described.
However on point to be made is the mail you have not recieved because of the doms that can read and simply don't write, by default the mail you get is going to be from the "others".

I, of course, take no offense at your comments Jennylu48 - but I do make the following observations:

1. You come here to a section of the boards labelled "Ask a Master" to discuss breaches of courtesy and etiquette by breaching courtesy and etiquette yourself. You came in large part as an attempt to insult with no clear or courteous question in mind.

2. Interestingly, the ability to control the flow of unwanted communications was at your control the whole time. You did not avail yourself of this tool and have somehow decided that your own ignorance is everyone else's fault.

3. FWIW, I don't think anyone ever automatically *deserves* my courtesy, I give it with the understanding that they shall prove themselves worthy as they should over time. But If I discover that someone is unworthy of my respect and good treatment, they never receive it again. They may well receive a word of correction and some less than kind words from me also, and after that I will generally just ignore them as beneath my notice. Someone within my keeping might well recieve the back of my hand from time to time for such breaches as it would be in the nature of the relationship to discipline such a one to the correct and desired behavior.

4. It's possible that your master should perhaps be less obliging with you and more concerned with your discipline in interacting with others. I am not one of these fools that practices meaningless protocols or that insists that you call all men "Sir" or "Master" as an empty gesture of respect. But as perfect strangers to you, I do expect that you would behave in a more reasonable and respectful manner unless we on this board were to give you reason to disrespect us. I note with some passing interest that you have little to say about how you respect your master, but that he seems to respect and trust you - I'd say you had that part exactly backwards.

By the use of this phrase "fathoms the imagination" I think you meant to say: "I cannot fathom" as in "I cannot cannot comprehend, or penetrate to the meaning or nature of...X."

Sultry: You and Jennylu48 are almost the same age.

MstrssPassion certainly has some excellent things to say. Many would do well to heed such common sense advice. I think that MstrssPassion also noted a kind of inversion in the expected power structure, as did I.

DISCLAIMER: the OP is not the sole poster I am refering to in my following statement. Her post is not the first post of its type I have seen within any discussion group anywhere.

This poster is not the only poster to enter the CM forums disgusted, frustrated & plain ol pissed off... Too bad that the individuals that put them in this mood are not around to catch their fury & resentment.

Most of the posters in the forums are the exact opposite in manner, personality & practice, yet we are the ones that endure the splat of the sh't hitting the fan. Now, these posters that come in ranting about their angst tend to just pass through leaving the rest of us in heated debates of what each of feel the best resolve would be... breach of self-identified protocols... he said she said BS (etc etc etc)... & the OP of ranting posts are back out in their "world" continuing to do just what irked them in the first place because they were not seeking resolve, they were just tooting their own horn to feel justified by their own failure to get what they want & get it their way & get it right now.

I said you should pity them. I didn't say you should submit to them. LOL

Where did you get the notion that they were "in command and control of us?" I certainly didn't say that, and I don't in any way believe that they are. These are just guys who send you an email. No matter what they call themselves or what sort of experience they claim to have, they aren't in control of you unless you allow them to be. And I wouldn't recommend you do that.

Pity them, but keep your distance. I don't know any successful D/s relationships based on the submissive taking pity on the dominant. Seems to me that would be a sure-fire recipe for disaster. Some new variation of topping from the bottom perhaps. It's definitely something I would avoid.

Thank you for the sign, but it doesn't quite fit. I'll just leave it here for anyone who jumps to conclusions because they're a little eager to insult someone else.
