Congrats to Y/you both! Vitamins are a must! Especially the B vitamins to even out your moods and for better brain function. BUT they can make you very nauseous! Take them only with food in your stomach -- like a sandwich or toast, etc... (Keep up on your protein too!) BTW. A news story a few years back explained that, In Fact, women's brains shrink a bit because of pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is to compensate for the increase in body fluids -- including the spinal fluid that also surrounds the brain. Personally, I choose NOT to think of it as "omg! my brain's shrinking!" My spin on it is... "very cool! my brain is becoming more concentrated.... !!! " The tiredness around the third month was overwhelming for me everytime! It was like I hit a wall of immoveable exhaustion. I never had morning sickness unless I took my vitamins on an empty stomach, But I had indigestion so bad in the last trimester late in the day -- every day! Beef caused the worst of it. Eventually I couldn't eat anything after 4 PM except maybe a piece of fruit, some veggies, or a few whole grain crackers. Luckily I could handle lots of juice, milk or water. Idea --- Ask for Him to advise you on His priorities. Just which of the daily activies you have previously done are the most important to Him... which ones might He feel aren't as important? One other thing. Your joints become very flexible as you near term. It is much easier to get a dislocation. Hips, shoulders, even your spine alignment. Please be careful!
