can someone please explain to me the difference in collars?.........eg training,play collar and leash

Types of collars is a relatively new phenomenon. The fact is there are people who use only one level of collar and there are folks who use 5 or 6 types. Google up the various types you read about and you'll find plenty of reading material.
However I would caution you to read it with a 50 ton block of salt. Lots of folks want to make like their levels are the way it is was and ever will be correct. Lots of made up histories out there so beware anything presented as The Way it Is.
