should non doms pay a fixed tax?

The Tory party in the UK (the party that brought you Maggie "The Bitch" Thatcher) is proposing that non doms be taxed at £25,000-00 a year as a fixed charge.

This seems quite unreasonable in my opinion. Not all non doms are wealthy after all.

What do you think though?

Non domestics? If so yes because I’m not one. Seriously though going abroad to work shouldn’t get you out of making pensions contributions etc. if you intend on coming back to retire. I heard the other day, on the news, you have to work 30 years to get a full state pension and it’s something that has always put me off working abroad. I would be paying tax abroad but to another government but then when I move back home I’d get a lower pension due to less years of contributions. I’m not sure how it works, never have been. If this clears that up good. If you was talking about something else entirely then blaaaa is all I can say.
