If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women. It also makes the point, it is kind of embarrassing, the Democratic Party ought to be hanging its head in shame, that it has so much difficulty getting men to vote for it. I mean, you do see it’s the party of women and 'We’ll pay for health care and tuition and day care -- and here, what else can we give you, soccer moms?' -Ann Coulter She also bashed those that believe in global warming.... Because we can't prove them wrong for a thousand years, and I think the other thing about it is, it goes back to Chesterton’s statement: that when people stop believing in God, the problem isn't that they believe in nothing, it's that they'll believe anything. And that's what you constantly see with people who don't believe in God: They're always imitating the most ridiculous, primitive religions. And it is like a primitive religion, thinking if we just change these lightbulbs, we can change the temperature of the ocean. It's the craziest thing! Even primitive people wouldn't believe something that silly.

That's a bit screwed up really. . Even in a world full of submissives/slaves that enjoy feeling below the person they are serving, the world's a lot different than it used to be. Person has some messed up views.

Look at the source, she is a "shock jock" of sorts, she says idiotic things to get attention and she does so beautifully. Most of the women I know take politics seriously and do their best to get to know the candidates and what they stand for (or claim that they do) before casting their vote. As for Ann Coulter, I don't respect her or her work. I just think she is another loud mouth shock jock looking for attention. The best way to deal with these types I have found is to ignore them. ~Lashra

Thing is...she's not really that stupid. She's got a law degree from the University of Michigan which is a tough school to get into. She has been a law clerk and worked as a clerk for a Senator. So its not that she isn't intelligent. It's just that her political views are extremely radical and very far to the right. The reason she is attacking single women is because in the 2000 and 2004 elections, most single women voted for Gore and Kerry while most married women voted for Bush. Therefore she thinks that single women vote stupidly because they are more liberal and likely to only vote for a Democrat. Im not agreeing with her, I'm just explaining her thinking here...

To me, her thinking adds up to "I am right, you are wrong. And not only are you wrong, but you are wrong because you are stupid" Fine tactic for debate I'd say. Its along the lines of "you are with us or against us" - in other words, "agree with me or else". Simple reasoning tends to appeal to the simple minded. E

Not to disagree with you, personally, but let's be honest here- Ivy league schools are TOUGH to get into, yet "W" graduated from one!!! And being someone's clerk? wasn't Jessica Hahn a "clerk"? Not disrespecting the hard working folks (men and women) in that profession- but SOME of them don't get their "promotions" by their filing skills!! Let's be honest here.... Yes, Ann Coulter IS a shock-jock! Howard Stern in a dress, with a different wig, more or less. She's been spouting bullshit like this for years, and people keep buying her damn books- giving her more opportunity to spout this BS. Personally, compared to other statements she's made in the past (not even counting those in her books), this one is a little on the lame side- which says something about her opinions and attitudes! :-( Really wishing the popular vote in '00 had been counted, or that 750,000 Ohio voters hadn't been disqualified in '04 (without legitimate reason) , where the margin between candidates was only 400,000... So, who was really elected? alright- time to get off the soap box.....

I consider close mindedness such as her's to be stupid. She maybe intelligent but she is a close minded idiot. Also she knows how to make the $$$ and what better way to do it then to "shock" people with the bullshit she spews out. I am not convinced she believes that crap she writes/says but she knows it will sell. If she did believe it, why isn't she at home in the kitchen with an apron on and a bunch of screaming kids hanging off her hip while hubby makes all the decisions? Practice what you preach or get off the high horse is my motto. ~Lashra

Wicked-anti gay, only to have a son of hers outed. I gave up ever taking Coulter seriously a long time ago. She's sure not worth the time. thornhappy

We all know by now that Ann Coulter has made a career out of pulling shit out of her ass and spewing it publicly, so everyone notices her and rants about what she says. It's attention-whoring at its finest.
