Thanks for the help. Problem being that the belly-dancing styles are fine for dancing slaves but i was looking for the dress type -- described as being short-skirted and tied over one shoulder, so the Master could pull a loop and the dress would puddle at the girl's feet. Puzzlingly, at is described as being striped diagonally, yet the color of the silk is supposed to have significance. White, meaning the girl is reserved for her Master's use, yellow for tavern girls, etc. Am still trying to figure out how it can be one color, yet striped. *grin* After much image searching on Google, i have found that the Polynesian pareau comes very close and is dead easy. i purchased 2 feet of silky white cloth and will cut the width down so that it comes to mid-thigh. Some cording sewn along the top will allow it to be tied with a simple knot so that a tug will free it. i plan to sew a couple tucks and pleats so that it will lay properly and emphasize my form rather than hiding it. i wanted it because there is an Event my Master wishes to take me to that allows scenewear but no nudity until in the dungeon. This will allow me to be covered while still dressed for the occasion -- no need to change! Also, very inexpensive. i spent $10 in all. Hope this helps other slave girls who might wish the same sort of costume. Perhaps, once finished with it, my Master will take a picture i can post so others can see.
