to answer your question....slaves are in a far better class than women... women come a dime - a - dozen. Slaves come one in a million. a slave knows how to respect a man whom is their Master.. women that are in the vanillia world will wipe their feet all over a man. only slaves obey ..

Once again, i find myself mystified. If you have no desire to see to His wants/needs, why are you searching for a Dom or Master? Isn't the idea that His pleasure brings you joy? That you submit -- however the two of Y/you conceive of it -- and He dominates? Meaning if He asked for something and it were in your power to give it to Him, only considerations of limits, children, etc. would constraint your impluse to act as He requested.

i am a submissive -- a pleasure sub with some "slave" tendencies -- as well as a novice. subd4master can think less of me because of my chosen role, but it does not diminish me, because here, all are owed respect until they do something beyond the pale...then the Mods have Their say.

As for hardheavyhand..if you deliberately meant to suggest beating a woman, i think you're in the wrong forum. You will find P/pl here have no patience with abusive men trolling as Doms or Masters.

I have every desire to see his wants and needs... like I said it is in my personality.
However, it is not because I am female.. it is because I am me.

i love that imagrey, double leo.

Hopefully it's apparent that "obedient" women are those who choose submission. Surely the Op did not mean ALL women must obey ALL men. i mean, my Gawd, think of the shoes we'd end up with if the sales staff were male.

I only obey Sir. The rest of ya get what you get, depending how you ask.

And I don't care what other women do, they don't live in my skin.

It's a choice.

I consider myself a true feminist. I would never tell ANYONE that they should live their life the way I do- Oscar Wilde once said "Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live."

BenevoleMasterFL -> RE: A woman's place to obey? (8/19/2005 10:02:01 PM)

I see a true, healthy diversity of opinions here
so, I'll throw mine in.

I would not expect any female to be obedient
without my first earning her love and respect.

And even then, never would I expect her to
agree with me in all ways.

Where I come from, a lady is a lady and
is to be treated as a lady until she proves
she is not a lady but a tramp.

Well, i am a submissive woman, but a lady? Nope. Sorry...no silver spoon for me. Instead i got the switchblade.

i do like role play, though. i would guess i could pretend to be a lady for about 2 or maybe 3 hours; that would be my absolute maximum.

ROFLMAO.

Well, reading your position of the issue of :is it a woman's place to Obey" in the forum, you certainly became the 'brightspot' of My day.

I want to thank you for expressing a potentially unpopular opinion so clearly, with such sincerity and forethought, and alo with a deft finesse.

Not trying to "convert" you or pick you up, just appreciating your thoughts, with which I largely agree.

I believe that in a natural order, a woman's place is to obey, to be disciplined and also to be prized and protected, but that in our society where we live in contrast to so many natural laws ( flying, extesive machine use, massive building etc. this natural maxim is also brought into question as to whether is can always be followed, and so the matter of personal choice of whom is to obey, and under what circumstances, arises out of necessity.

doubleLeo -> RE: A woman's place to obey? (8/20/2005 10:16:36 AM)

Yes, there are the more primal aspects of the human self.. and this is valid.
But there is also the freewill of the mind which also allows to place as much or as little emphasis on the natural drives as we so choose.
Of course, many would argue this saying that all feelings should be expressed..but still...we do try to keep ourselves contained whilst out in public, for the sake of others really ;-)
We all have our vices..and this is also good to experience.

Just a thought

I totally disagree with this, there is a reason to love, honor and OBEY was taken out of the marrige vows. If a woman chooses to obay then that is her choice and i stress the word CHOICE. It is not the natural order of things. You are free to disagree with me but befor you do ask a Domme if this is natural i think you would get a different response. Have a great day.

MRMojo -> RE: A woman's place to obey? (8/28/2005 8:18:01 AM)

I beleive it IS a woman's place to obey. Of course, I am old fashioned I guess. I agree that they should obey but be provided for and protected. My ideal situation is very 1950s.

A woman's place is in the kitchen in her high heels cooking me dinner, yes, but she's going to be very protected, loved and provided for.

Hello There,
What a male chauvinist pig statement you’ve made. I think there are more vanilla men who are the ones to obey their women. If you think about it, most family's I've known leave most of the household decisions to the ladies. In sales & telemarketing most men say, "You have to talk to my Wife". I think it's more the norm for the women to be in control of a relationship. In the dating world you don't have sex till she's ready. I haven't heard of any men being in control of when the first kiss, feel, or intercourse happens. In all I think it's mostly women taking care of the men like little boys, and deciding when things happen, what to eat, how to keep the house, writing out the bills and dealing with the finances, and what's best for day to day life.
=================

this is a turn-of-events, since "I"I was raised PATERNAL where the MEN ARE BOSS.
i am not familiar with wimpy boys in VANILLA that let the woman boss em around. in MY 3 marriages "I" was king of the roost!

RosaB -> RE: A woman's place to obey? (8/28/2005 10:03:00 AM)

I've beed avoiding this thread like the plague and now i remember why. Some people actual believe a woman's place is to obey. I figured most were mentally and emotionally evolved enough at this point and time and the topic would just be redundant.

As far as natuaral order, I guess I believe in evolution, things evolve and change, go in cycles at times, but mostly move on to the next tier. If the human race self destructs, it will just make room for the next group of inhabitants to have their turn at this planet and hopefully they will take better care of it and each other. I think we give ourselves way too much value in the scheme of the universe. These are just my opinions take em or leave em.

Saw the following on a button more than 10 years ago. "Most men are created equal." "Poor things." Yeah, I bought the button and still have it. LOL

Submission is a choice. I don't feel that it's a women's place to obey, other women can do whatever they want to do, and it's alright by me.

ditto.
