I've noticed a lot of gamer topics, I tried to make one for FFXI but that didn't go anywhere. . So, I'm curious where everyone is. Seems like WoW to me but I can't play that. lol

If you play something 'other', tell us what. Their's too many MMO's out there. .

And share your experiences why you play that MMO you picked!

FFXI gets too cliquish once you hit 70. Least it was back when i played - the japanese vs everyone else, and too many of those players were hard core.

Then again on my server, we had numerous gold farms so it was difficult to say the least to get the gear to level up.

RCdc -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 4:33:19 PM)

I put FFXI... but I am not really playing it anymore.  But it's the last one I was on.
I am now officially a HaloWhore.  I kick Convenent and Flood ASS and it FUCKING ROCKS.
*pants*

Malla - The game's changed a lot, especially making it easier to obtain things as not everything's over priced anymore.

Darcy - Aww, sorry you left. . I quit myself, some time back, but FFXI has a new expansion coming out that's got me intrigued and has brought me back to the game I used to once hate. lol

mallagrl -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 4:39:20 PM)

I've heard that its pretty much gone the way that WoW has with individual mounts ect. I have friends who still play who say that it's changing for the worse, but everyone's opinon is different i'm sure.

RCdc -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 4:39:29 PM)

(it's .dark. posting just so you know coz Darcy is busy on his bookwriting - yup female gamer me! whoohooo!)

Apparently, they have a campaign on right now that means you can reactivate or rather - recover- past accounts.  Usually it would poof after 3 months... but you can pick up old accounts again right now, including all the old charachters and everything they had/owned. The down side is you have to buy a new account to get to do it, but it's not so bad cost wise for that at the moment - at least not in the UK.

Peace

Malla - It is opinionated on what you see. . I'm hoping the new expansion changes a lot of things for the better, since it's going to involve 'time travel', a really big step in FFXI"s progress.     Plus, you need something to do during your free time. :P

dark - My mistake. lol Female gamer's are the best kind of gamers, just feel sorry for the crap they have to put up with people. Unfortunately my account was stolen, and sold, and it's unretrievable anymore. :( Have to start from the beginning. But I don't mind so much, I can redo everything I did, and won't take as long since I know what I'm doing. Not only that I have a couple friends on FFXI that still play.

Now all I need a sub who wants to play with me. :D

Haha, glad to hear it dark. Too bad the story to Halo 3 was so weak. At least they 'kind of' made up for it in Online play.

RCdc -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 5:12:51 PM)

Yes I agree.
I know many people who completed in under or around 7hrs.
And the online rocks, but I have already come across modders already... I just wish they could deal with those people... that's what put me off H2 i n the end.

I've been playing world of warcraft since beta.  My main character is on the Norgannon server I play horde I have a level 70 priest, a level 66 shaman, a level 62 druid and and a 62 warlock.  I know I have way to much time on my hands, I just need somebody to play with, a tank to heal especially now with an expansion coming out that makes level 80 possible and a hero class, Mmmm death knight.

I'm just another gamer sub!

PsychoticWolf -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 5:38:27 PM)

dark - you really get that in any game, but everyone's so obsessed with newer games it just happens there more often.

Angelic - Nice. :D

BlackKnight -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 5:39:10 PM)

Play wow now, but not all that hardcore, waiting for perpetual to bring out Star Trek Online!

LordOgre -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 5:47:49 PM)

Shame the poll can't support multiple answers. Currently split my time between WoW and Guild Wars. First got sucked into MMOs through EQ. Along the way spent time in Horizons, CoH/CoV, EQ2, even took a stab at Eve Online. Currently in beta for an upcoming MMO as well.

Yeah, I'm a geek. [sm=hello.gif]

Um yeah.... i gave my account away to a linkshell friend who's life it is to play that game. I tried to log in a month ago and she's in some new expansion area.

Oh well, i prefer WoW. There's no Japanese boys telling you to stick a galka sausage up your mithra piehole.

[No Thanks!]

scifi1133 -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 10:30:17 PM)

I play guild wars.....np fee month to month and the graphics are impressive.

cuffnspankme -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/3/2007 10:53:25 PM)

My ex dom plays Guild Wars. The ass would call me while he was playing and then be all put out because I actually expected him to pay attention to me and not the damn game. Thats right he called me, not the other way around. Bastard. I know this has nothing to do with the original OP but I had to have my lil rant there, I feel better and now back to the scheduled OP. I don't play an games, I just don't get into that sort of thing.

LoL I've heard that phrase so many times. It's sad. . This is why you piss everyone off in the game. :P Unfortunately you need people to play MMO's. lol

wwwkevinww -> RE: Which MMORPG do you currently play? (10/4/2007 1:28:10 PM)

I've played a variety of MMORPG's.  like most hobbies, they are time consuming and can be fun.  From the onlookers who aren't into them, I can understand them not getting it.  Unlike most hobbies, MMORPGS can be very addctive.  Its best to have a shared interest in the same MMORPG if your in a relationship.  If you really care about someone, you could find out more about their hobbies and take a mild interest (even if your normally not into it), as in the fact you can spend time in a virtual world with them pursuing what they enjoy.

If someone calls you and then puts priority over GUILD WARS, they are severely addicted.......MMORPGS have broken up many a relationhip.....

I think its worse when addicted people actually neglect their children, and end up in jail because of that neglect.  (obviously criminal neglect)....
