Have him come online. There is plenty of information and many different views on things.

Don't be shy come on in and ask questions. I am also sure that many people can offer many links to sites that would give details on becoming a Dom/Master.

Don't think you need a book / mountains of internet research to become a 'Master' - why not just tell him what you enjoy and then see which bits he would enjoy, then go and do the bits that you both agree on?

I mean - it's supposed to be fun, you don't need to write a bloody thesis before becoming a 'Master'. It should not be that complicated! Sure research on safety aspects of 'extreme' play is required, but if he is just starting out I suggest that a lot of activity he will be comfortable with initially (thinking a spanking here, you kneeling etc etc) just require the teeniest bit of common sense to be applied.

Anyways - my advice, have a chat with him and let him know what you enjoy / would like, kind of how most marriages approach most challenges I imagine

Cheers and hope the pair of you enjoy it all!!

Have him come here and read thru "new Dom" threads.
Talk with him, find out expectations, wants, desires... for him and for you.
Only do this with him if it is something HE is interested in also.
Play in this area for your gratification is one thing, but do not try and make him into something he is not. That generally ends bad for both parties.
If this is truly his interest, then help him in any way that you can. Just remember your place as his submissive and do not overstep any set bounderies you have with him.

Online information is good. The two most obvious texts normally recommended are:

"SM 101: A Realistic Introduction"
-- by Jay Wiseman

"Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns:
The Romance and Sexual Sorcery of Sadomasochism"
-- by Philip Miller, Molly Devon

You can get them at most bookstores online, and almost certainly at a kinky bookshop near you too. I prefer the first text as Wiseman really does give the necessary lip service to issues of first aid and other health concerns which I think are hugely important. The second volume has lots of pictures and many practical ideas for the less creative. Both are good in different ways.

I highly recommend finding a male Dom mentor for him (real time). A lot of the toys and situations we use can be dangerous if used incorrectly (including things as benign as rope). Having someone teach you in a hands on manner is a huge help.

I would also check with your local BDSM group. They will frequently have seminars on everything from negotiation and protocol to cutting and single tail whips.

The books and online resources are a great place to start, but I highly recommend hands on training.

www.castlerealm.com (straight information no porn) is good for you too

http://www.iron-rose.com/ (info)

http://www.leathernroses.com/ (Info)

The top three sites are the sites that I always highly recomend to beginners between the three your hubby should learn a great deal of info without having to look at all the porn!

www.bdsmlibrary.com (fantasies)

www.bdsmcafe.com (fantasies)

Books and online are a great place to get facts and general information but nothing can replace real hands on training. I would suggest that you find a local group and join it. Start out slowly.
