all of life my friend was pain
pure freedom with every welt of a kane
they never saw the glimmer in my eye
between the tears i would cry
they didn't know the abuse they gave
was letting lose the spirit of a slave
so i look back many years before this time
and thank them for putting me to the path that is mine
to my family of close-minded folk that un-knowingly helped me to find who i am though they deny my existance lol
