I was wrong about all of this. I've come to the conclusion that appearances do not mean shiat. It's what is inside that illuminates the soul. So, having said that, I'm masturbating, cause I'm not sleeping with an ugly anything. Unless her soul is real purdy!!

She's vibrant, she's healthy, she's graceful, and I can't keep my hands off of her! I know a lot of guys that with a gain in weight, comes bitterness, unhappiness, disappointment. Appearance is pretty damned important to me. I prefer that all body parts are there and in their proper places, that I can breathe when he is on top of me, and that he doesn't wear more makeup than I do.

What I find amusing is the doms who insist his girl be drop dead gorgious in shape, ect ect ect. And he's not. Nobody is in the position to demand anything of any one else if they're not at least half of all the expect others to be. looks aren't in the top 10 of things I look for, but if he demands you to be in good shape and he's not, and be clean and DD free and he's not I laugh. not to their face of course, but I am like oh please, next.

LOL, I have to agree with the last two post. The man should not wear more makeup than the gal.....not that there's anything wrong with it...LOL and, if you are asking someone to be of a certain body type, height, weight, complexion, mindset...etc You damn well better fit the bill as well. great answers...all of you...thanks!

Appearances to me are grooming, mode and style of dress, and how they present themselves. Then I can move into their looks. Then what is between their ears. A girl may not be my dream girl, but if she is smart, has common sense, presents herself as a woman and not a tart, and is very well groomed, then I can be attracted to her.

I do know opisits can attract but for me, If he's expecting dam fine looks on wheels an he's a pig I won't be interested. I think it's hypocritcal to expect perfection when he's all slovenly.

Oh I agree, it can be hypocritical and it certainly seems odd to me. But then there's a lot of hypocricy in the world, and people will do as they will do. Speaking for myself, I have high standards for what I look for in a slave, but I reserve the highest standards for myself. I dress as well as I am able, I keep myself and my home clean, I take care of my things, and I have invested a lot of time and energy into being the best person I know how to be. I'm not perfect, I'm too skinny and anyone who has seen my photo knows I'm a beanpole. I don't eat as well or as often as I should and sometimes I forget to go to sleep... usually when I'm engrossed in some project or book. Maybe if I had a good slave to look after me in those areas... ah well... all things in time. I don't smoke, I confine my drinking to something with a meal and never get drunk, I'm drug and disease free (unless you count the occasional cold) and in general I'm pretty healthy and still enjoy a 4 or 5 mile hike as a fun, spur of the moment thing to do. So yes, I expect a lot, but I offer a lot too, I think that's a fair exchange. What others choose to do is their business, even if it is hypocritical, I've got enough trying to keep me sorted out without worrying what the next guy or gal is doing. Geez I'm getting mellow. [;)]

I agree with Padriag very much on this point. And it's not hypocrisy to want things different in another than what one expects of oneself. I am looking for things in a woman that I do not possess in myself because I am not a woman. Doesn't that just make sense? I think that part of what underlies this thread is about sour grapes, or someone's hurt feelings, or something like that... We cannot any of us be everyone else's first choice. That's just the way it is. Whether it makes sense, seems hypocritical, somehow unethical, or even just simply shallow doesn't matter. I repeat: That's just the way it is. Personally, I demand the right to be shallow. Fuck anyone that thinks they can come between me and my heart's desires. Seriously, fuck anyone that even dares.

A dominant dominates someone who chooses to submit to them. If he's so out of shape be it in either direction how is he going to effectively dominate her. If he's so huge he can't function, he can't dom her, if he's so sickly and frail how is he gona hev the pychical presence. Everyone has their "ideal". Mine is at least 5'8", long kinky redhair, strong thighs, big butt, a vagina that you only find on redheads (love that extra lining) and a PhD in anything but psychobabble. What I find amusing is Head Bitch Barbie's "deal breakers". Any male who has a baseball cap on backwards (unless he is also wearing a catchers mask); any male who has his cap on while eating, any male who wears white socks with slacks or black socks with shorts...lol (guess that takes care of NJ and Canada).
