Do "Kinksters" get surprised? Perhaps my most surprising attribute is my beleif that we (lifestylers) are in fact NOT kinky, but well rounded individuals with passion and a zest for life. It's all those other folks that are screwed up.

I haven't had live TV since July 2001. On 9/11, when I talked to one of my good friends, I remarked how fortunate it was that I'd left the urban jungle when I did, and when could I expect him to move up? He lives fairly close to the Pickering Nuclear Power Plant, one of many Canadian potential targets. I got my news from CNN's website that day. Living without television is very different. You focus more on each other, find your own ways of filling your life, rather than letting TV eat away the hours.

Ok. I am going to answer my own question so everyone knows what I am actually asking. LOL While I sit here reading these boards and posting, I am listening to Broadway Showtunes and singing. I love musical theater. It is my passion and my very first dream was to star on Broadway. That is what I meant by the question. jen

That most of the time when I'm smiling at a munch, I'm screaming at myself about how bored I am and how these people are idiots. I don't go to many munches anymore.

was always wondered whether the internet and computers just replaced tv. I myself don't watch tv at all. Keep a very busy schedule, yet on days off like today which it is dreary and miserable, and for a few mins to wind down after work, yes, do turn to this next generation boob tube....... wishes everyone well, sincerely melanie

hello jen, I am an avg joe, a grandfather to a 12 year old grandson that I adore.I am a history channel buff and like some scifi.I am a blues fan and listen to xm radio and a late night radio talk freak,Most of my neighbors would say theres ol' frnnk a good old boy,I breed and show and hunt walker hounds,have horses,Like I said just an avg joe...

hmmm...for those fellow kinksters to be surprised, i would have to have really something that comes out of the ordinary...i mean, really. So far, i've not done anything spectacular, won a few gold medals in a swimming competition of my city, my dream is to one day own a house with a front porch, some horses and kids, having a biiiig bookcase to put my all-time favorite books on and when i'll be retired, passing the time by doing numbers painting... surprised?

If someone were to be a fly on the wall when the three of us are together, I think they would be surprized how sharp mine and Alandra's wit is and how often we gang up on him and tease him until all he can do is laugh and call us "fucking bitches". Most often when people see the three of us out we are in formal protocol and that type of interplay is not appropriate behavior. However, getting the better of him by using our wit is a passion of mine and hers. The rule is that as long as he is laughing we are not in trouble, so we keep him laughing [;)] Knight's Kyra
