Ever wonder why we have profiles here?  Collarme should take them off their site. No one ever reads mine before they send an email.
I just had a Dominant male want to ship another Dominant male to my dungeon.  I have to wonder about these people.
This is a rant. If you want to join in, please rant, if not oh well.

i understand completley what you mean. i just joined here and i am a complete newbie in the lifestyle. And even though i clearly state in my profile that i am just here to make friends and learn more i have had many messages(mostly from sub men) asking me for pics and IM addys and such. First of all i am not interested in sub men in the least other than making friends, but i love the ones who claim that they ahve read my rpofile and that they would be the perfect match for me lol. UH HUH like that will ever happen[:D]

Not quite the same subject, because the people who I get messages from do read my profile, but...

Why am I apparently so appealing to female submissives? It seems that half the people who peruse my profile and almost two-thirds of my messages come from girls who are either submissive or switches leaning heavily. Albeit they're always very kind and well-written, but it does become a bit confusing bordering on depressing. Either I'm giving out the wrong vibes, or no Female Dominants like Orwell novels.

If I had to rant, I'd rant a little like this:

Why the hell do people want to ditch the profiles when -clearly- that means we lose out on the chance to see hawtie pics?!  I need my masturbatory fantasy visual stimulus, dammit!  And HTF am I supposed to know if I'm lurking a guy or a girl when I'm not bi and -really- need to know who I'm spamming with crap emails!!

I've had many, many responses...pages and pages worth (hey, not cuz I'm me; only because I'm a female listed as Dominant here...).  I HAVE had responses from Nigerians...of both sexes, btw.
 
I don't even bother with but maybe one out of a hundred.  The rest is just the crap you have to put up with...whether you are here or on Alt (where it's even worse) or on Match.com (where it's the worst yet!).
 
When ya come to a place like 'online dating'...you have to expect this crap; it's just part of the game.  I think more people should make use of the mail filter offered here.  It's better than a rant...and makes the day go smoother.

I get so many emails (not just from this site) from people saying "Hello Mistress"...if you know anything about me..I am all submissive....makes me giggle though[8D]

Hmmm,well at least you get mail, we get nothing, even the new girls do not respond to mails:( we are close to giving up, its sad:( be thankful that you can fuss about getting something hahah:)
