Are at it again. A realistic female android, or at least the proto version. You think we have people bitching now about RL vs online? About 24/7 vs bedroom? Wait until there is a trend where Doms who can't get a sub buy some kind of sophisticated BDSM sexbot. It staggers the mind.

Thats ironic. I just seen a tv show this morring about a woman complaining that with in the next 25 years or so... people will begin to buy robots, instead of looking for a real life partner. They commented about how society has moved from dateing in person to dateing on the net...and that robots is the only next logical step. honestly what is this world comeing to? Batty

For some sick reason "Mr Roboto" by Styx is now stuck in my head. Domo Oregoto indeed. Kinda scary though. I can't claim to have had much success in my endevours with the opposite sex, but it's the stuff outside of the bedroom that seems to make it worthwhile for me. The idea of a fuckbot just seems like such a let down. That and e-herpes would be such a downer.

Ron An actuator is any number of piston type devices used in conjunction with levers and fulcrum points to make objects move. Pneumatics is only one aplication, but that robot would have to carry an onboard compressor, which in turn would require a motor, which would be a huge pain in the ass design. Most likely they're simple 12v electric actuators.
