I've always been of the opinion that most dominant women would benefit from having at least one little sarbonn in their collection. I understand they're rare, but having been around one for quite some time, I think no woman should go without owning one.

For the up and coming Domme:

1. Hands - Best tools known to man. Learn to use these to the best of your ability before practising with anything else. This applies to the feet also, which are  underrated/underused.
2. Feet    - Same as above
3. 2 x 4m lengths of cotton rope.
4. 2 x 8m lengths of cotton rope.
5. The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage - Midori
6. Household items such as Lube, Toothpaste, Listerine Strips
7. Clothes Pegs (pins) - no need to bother with buying nipple clamps as these will suffice and can be gotten at a later date.
8. Bungee flogger.
9. Anything that will fashion into a blindfold - very underrated.
10 Chopsticks and elastic bands which can be used for clamping nipples, cocks and even fashioning into a type of humbler.

I won't list what I would have as my essential top ten as you haven't asked for that.

I have been pretty much toyless since my stay here in america was with family, of which Im already a black sheep and respected them enough not to let them in on who or what I am. So I'll be needing to restock my supplies and favorite items when Im back, BUT this brough me onto a neater subject. As experinced Mistresses and Subs here always pique my intrest in thier thoughts. If you where to create a "bundle" or "kit" for a young and up and coming Mistress, what would you supply and why?

List 10 things in order with a small explination as to why that item is essential to you and could not be without.

Mistress Kit:
1)

10)

Just a boy :)

This will differ from person to person as we do not all have the same tastes. For example, you won't find a dildo or strap on on my list. You'll find it on a LOT of others'. For me:

  1. Needles (and supplies)
  2. Scalpels (and supplies)
  3. Knife
  4. Singletail
  5. Paddle
  6. Condoms
  7. Cane or thin crop
  8. Rope or cuffs
I can't think of more that I think are essential. Most of what I do is with my hands.

Master Fire

MsPleasure -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (10/11/2007 6:49:26 PM)

Things in my goodie bag.

1.  Rope, clothes pins
2.  Strap-ons different sizes
3.  Butt plugs, vibrators
4.  Blind fold
5.  Restraints, hand cuffs, ankle/wrist
6.  Rubber & leather gloves, lube
7.  Dog collar and leash
8.  Enema equipment
9.  Lingerie for Feminization
10.Wooden paddle, leather belt

Your toys will depend on what you enjoy or are curious about doing.  Be safe and have fun.

all of these items are great but honestly... you have two hands that go with you everywhere & knowing how to use those is your most prized possession

side note: they don't set off alarms at security gates

Unless I'm having a really bad day, I usually remember to pack my hands, and I know how to use them! [;)]

dominalisa -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (10/11/2007 10:05:11 PM)

She said a kit for a "young and up and coming Mistress". Sounds like a newbie. I wouldn't put needles, scalpels, knives or singletails in a kit for a new domme. New dommes could start off with the basics like: a blindfold, cuffs/restraints, their brain/creativity, their hands, foot massage lotion, a paddle, rope, an instructional bdsm book, a good book on loving Female authority and a collar with leash.

Anything else should be up to each individual Woman to find out what she likes since each Woman likes something different and is at a different stage. And some women like s/m and some do not.

To some Women, being Dominant means having a man at Her service for such things as house cleaning, massages, manicures/pedicures, etc. To other Women, dungeon scenes using BDSM equipment such as whips, paddles, canes and ropes are their ways to enjoy Female Domination. BDSM, on the other hand, describes Sado-masochistic behaviors which are not necessarily desired by all Women who Dominate men. It is important to find out what the dominant Woman prefers before shopping. Personally I do not think there could be just one recommended kit for everyone.

Also it wasn't said if it's for a lifestyle (non-pro) or a pro domme. I'll assume lifestyle (non-pro).

MsDonnaMia -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (10/11/2007 11:34:35 PM)

1) money
2) boys
3) a variety of sex
4) A fast car
5) good wine
6) nice clothes
7) a big guard dog
8) a nice, secluded dwelling
9) good friends
10) devoted slaves, of course. ;-)

I'll restate what I mean. As its supposed to be a Kit based on what you individualy would have to have. Not just "newbs" or pros, or non-pros. But everyone's individual lists.

May I ask what tools you have in your CBT box?

ShaktiSama -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (4/10/2008 2:34:50 PM)

Interesting thread!  [:)]  I've just recently begun to re-acquire toys after a long period without them.  I don't have any "must-have" items per se--I resort to my own body parts and weapons of convenience quite easily when I don't have a toy collection--but the first things I dug out of storage or went out to get were:

1.  Bondage tape!  Shiny, black, oh-so-pretty, requires no knots, re-usable, and looks wonderful in photographs.

2.  A ball-gag.  Again, I chose mine for visual effect--I liked the clear multi-faceted rubber.  It had a nice crystalline look.

3. Gloves.  I have two pair, one black PVC and the other blood-red leather.  The leather ones are a recent purchase.  They are BIG fun.

4.  Boots.  Black.  Shiny.  And they make me five inches taller, which puts me over six feet.  Fun for those who enjoy a Towering Domme.

5.  Dildo/vibrators.  Thick and round-tipped for women, and well-trained men.  Sharply-pointed and more slender for those who are not broken-in anal players.

6.  Lubricant.  Safe for use around condoms.

7.  Condoms.  For use when toys are inserted.

8.  Weighted nipple clamps:  an experimental purchase, but I kinda liked them.  I need to find a way to adjust the length of the chains a bit more.

9.  Restraints.  The ones I bought were strictly for visual effect; they look pretty on film but are not that functional.  If I was buying for my own bedposts, I'd go with a good-quality set of sturdy leather wrist and ankle cuffs with rings for rope.  They're nice and quick, they're safer than rope directly on the wrists and ankles, etc.

10.  A riding crop!  My signature weapon.  The new one has a deliberately naughty-silly slapping tip which is shaped like a hand.  For something so playful looking, it really does sting.

Not all of these things are "must-haves", they were just coincidental purchases, but I thought it would be amusing to list what amounts to "Emergency Domme Supplies".  [:D]

MladyHathor -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (4/10/2008 2:44:52 PM)

1. a nice flogger--well one MUST be prepared for discipline
2. a collar and leash ( leather of course)
3. 4 equal lengths of chain
4. 8 quick clips
5. 2 padlocks
6. 12 clothespins
7. one box of rubber gloves ( preferably purple)
8. one cherry wood paddle
9. 1 cock ring
10. a nice tapestry bag to put it all in

LadyHugs -> RE: The Mistress Kit (your toys) (4/10/2008 3:30:54 PM)

Dear Action, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I am having a hard time just picking ten things to put into a toy bag. [Smiles]

As to the initial post the question lead me to believe the list would be what a responding post would have for an up and coming Dominant.

1 and 2 - Floggers - one light and one medium; 3 and 4 - Canes - one narrow and one thicker; 5 and 6 - Paddles; one all leather, perhaps plain on one side and bunny on the other and the other wood, 7- Clothespins (wood), 8 -Round food baster brush, 9- set of cuffs and 10-creative mind.

As for a quick bag for myself; well, it would be four different types of floggers; four canes and two single tails. I can do a lot with them as well with my creative mind and experiences.

For a quick Sadist bag; Net with itty bitty clothespins, two single tails, cat o nine with blood knots, quirt narrow leather, two heavy floggers, clover clamps, chain with padlocks (keep the victim from running).

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs
