I beg to differ. There are many reasons to pay more for good furnishings. Superior materials, attention to detail and design, ease of set up and take down, durability, safety, hygein and sanitation. I make dungeon gear and furnsihings semi professionally (supplementing my regular furniture and cabinet shop). I've yet to see a self built piece that matches my quality. This is true from the start, but the difference becomes rather glaring after they have been in service for only a little while. My stuff works, performs, holds up under usage in the long term, and is safe. Safety is the biggest concern in my mind. Why attach a submissive to an unsafe, unhealthy and unsanitary piece of gear? There is no good reason I can think of. So while you're debating on getting that third $500 singletail, you might want to reconsider that rickety old spanking horse, St. Andrews cross or suspension frame. I know my gear is of high quality, but there are other high quality makers as well. Sincerely, Uncle Nasty, of Uncle Nasty's Dungeon Furniture and Accessories
