Hello everybody, i just noticed that i had been using/reading this site for awhile, but hadn't yet posted a "Hi Y'all" message! i'm a 50yo bi-wm/6'0/185/furry/submissive-bottom and just love D/s activities. My ingrained personality is that of a "bratty" type sub (do this to me, i DARE you!), and I enjoy meeting new folks, having new adventures and just having fun with life. in my D/s activities, i like the "make me do it" forced type activities. No pain (discomfort doesn't count), but anything hot, wild, possibly nasty, forbidden or taboo is ok in my book. Please feel free to inquire at any time. (smile) In my "real life," i'm an orchestra conductor - musical director - keyboards for musical theatre. i've been travelling around the world for about 30 years, residing in the pit (they keep us in the pit, away from polite society, for civilization's own good - grin) from my home base in the Cincinnati area, to national tours (Pippin/Godspell/Oliver), the ubiquitous "dinner theatre circuit" (just try to retain your concentration playing 48 weeks of Sound of Music - 8 weeks/6 cities, 6 sets of kids, 6 sets of kid's parents), a few "right place at the right time" gigs in the Bahamas, overseas, and the always fun local universities and high schools that need a "hired gun" to run the pit. i also have a small music studio where i created recorded full orchestra accompaniments for theatres that don't have the space or possibly the expert personnel to pull off a full out Broadway production. Using a combination of live and "Memorex" orchestra folks gives the theatres the excitement of the live players, along with the fullness and accuracy of the tracks. i currently have client theatres in 37 states and four continents. This is not due to my extreme talent, charming ways or devestatingly good looks. It is due to "being in the right place at the right time," and starting up this fledgling operation just a few years shy of the Internet rearing it's huge head. By the time the 'Net came along, i had amassed a small library (growing each year) of titles. In the "olden daze" before CD burners were a commonplace occurance, i used to ship a client (for example) 50 cassette tapes, with one song on each tape to allow them to easily cue the show. With the advent of affordable and competent CD equipment, along with the advances in musical reproduction on the instrument level, the task became much more managable. You can just imagine what it would be like to get three orders for "Into The Woods" on the same day, and having to record 117 tapes x 3 clients. Egad! So now instead of being a big fish in a small Cincinnati pond, the 'Net has opened up my ability to attract folks from all corners of the globe! In my non-music world, i'm a big game afficianado: bridge (life master), hearts (placed 2nd in the nationals in '05), spades (majored in spades in college), chess (i'm not good, but i'm fast!) and other strategy type endeavors. i'm (cough) a little bit competitive, and love the competition itself as much as the opportunity to win (well, it sounds good, anyway!). i also took up scuba diving when i turned 45, and have really enjoyed our "standard vacation place," Freeport, Bahamas. If any of Y/you are looking for an inexpensive but extremely enjoyable vacation, just Google "Freeport Bahamas Condo Rental" sometime. You can easily get a beachfront condo that sleeps four adults for $550 from Saturday/Saturday. That's TOTAL, not "per person." These are condos that by and large are "halftime homes" to the owners, and they rent them out the other half of the year, which means that the places tend to be well kept up! If you decide to give the Caribbean a try, definately shoot for Freeport and not Nassau, Bahamas. Nassau has the big famous Atlantis Casino, but the COST of everything is 4x what you'll find in Freeport. Example: Local hotel "Surf and Turf," lobster tail/prime rib, veggies, non-alcoholic drinks AND dessert, $21.00. The local Sheraton has a buffet on Fri/Sat for $35/person that has prime rib, filet mignon, lobster tails (already split and ready for the butter), king crab legs, snow crab legs, and tons of other goodies. If you want to try a spot where the water is so clear, that you can put a mask on, put your head under and see for 3/4 mile, this is the place! The water temp is in the low 90's in the summer, and the mid-70's in the winter (you don't have to "get used" to the water!). i find the natives charming (you gotta love that british-european accent, combined with the Caribbean "hey mon'!"), and the various tourist sites fascinating. They drive on the left, have "turnabouts" instead of "corners," and the national speed limit is 45mph. They have no "drunk driving" laws, and are fascinated by American reports of the dire penalties for DUI in the States! The Bahamian Dollar = US Dollar, and either is readily accepted anywhere. The beaches are long, white and clean. On many waterfronts, you can walk out 1/4 mile and STILL not be in water over your head. There is coral and fish EVERYWHERE, you can snorkle at any spot around the island and have something fun to watch! If you like scuba, DEFINATELY look up Grand Bahama Scuba/Fred Riger. A dive package of 10 dives runs about $275.00, and they will pickup/dropoff (saving you $20-$40 in cabfare), and for we "don't-get-up-early-in-the-morning-at-home-so-i-sure-as-hell-ain't-gonna-do-it-on-vacation" type folks, Grand Bahama Scuba's first "early morning" dive is at 10:00am. They have Nitrox and gear available, certification lessons (3 days, $350 including all rental gear), and no "strict schedule." A lot of dive operators go to Site A on Monday, Site B on Tues, Site C on Wednesday, etc. When everyone gets on the boat with Fred, he looks at everyone and says, "what kind of dive do you want to do today?" There will always (in my experience) be a quick consensus, and that's where you go! My favorite spot is "Shark Junction," where the shark feedings take place. The Caribbean Reef Shark (most predominant there) is not "human aggressive." They don't NOT like humans, and they don't LIKE humans. When diving with them, they pretty much give you the same attention as the rocks on the bottom.. I have a pic that I took with my underwater digital cam, with six sharks in the frame going out about 15 feet. And this is a cam without a zoom lens, so what you see is what was actually about 3'-15' from me while I was 40' down! OW, i'm sorry, one of the traits of adult ADHD (other than being able to have as much energy as the high school kids that i work with), is that we tend to be a bit (cough) "wordy." Please excuse the droning.. :) If anyone would like to chat, DO feel free to contact me at Y/your convenience. i DO love to communicate. (big grin) Talk computers, music, scuba, kinky sex, hey, i'm there! mm1
