I think that one thing to keep in mind is that in a primarily vanilla, monogamously idealized, and patriarchal society your BDSM desires are frankly subversive and rebellious. Seems like a perfect fit to me.

on the outside of mistress house i am strong willed and like to be in charge, but on entering her domain she is in total control as that is my way of releiving stress and penup anger (a complete role reversal)

in my opinion E/every person has within themselves many facets to their personality. just because a person exhibits a strong personality does not necessarily mean they cannot submit willingly to the right person. it's all a matter of choice. a person who chooses to submit to another is a very intimate personal thing. it has nothing to do with a lack of intelligence, or inner strength. i have been asked many times why i would seek a D/s relationship when i have such a strong personality. to me, the type of relationship i choose has nothing to do with my having self esteem, self worth, or self confidence. on the contrary, i believe a more powerful and a deeper connection, and also a better experience can be achieved when submission is a choice we submissives make to the right Domme. a spineless jellyfish, mindless robot is only so much fun and for so long *LOL*. IMHO willingly submitting to the right person is far more attractive than a puppy dog.

Haha, hell yes! Fight the Man by submitting to the Domme. ;)

Being submissive in role doesn't always equate to being submissive in nature. I know many slaves who are aggressive, have high power job and are activists. Seperate the role from the personality in your mind and it will be easier to understand (in my opinion).
