My ex wife is 51. She is now married to a 29 year old. He spanks her all the time and now even in front of his friends. She told me she is humiliated ,yet likes it at the same time. Does this mean she is submissive & wants to be dominated?

If those are the only facts all you should conclude is that she likes to be spanked and has an exhibitionist streak in her.

Does she have submissive traits in her, probably, many people do but it does not mean her natural path is the way of living like a submissive.

It might. Why not ask her, since you are on good enough terms to know her husband spanks her in front of others I doubt asking if she is a sub will cross comfort lines there...

The reason I know she is spanked because I coach a softball team & some of the guys are friends with my ex's new hubby & have been present when she was spanked

why does it matter? you are not together anymore. you are submissive and seeking. her love/sex/bdsm/whatever life has nothing to do with you.

also, you stated in your first post that SHE told you she was humiliated by it, so clearly she knows that you know. if she knows you know that, asking her if she is a submissive should not be a problem.
