prsissy -> Sissy slavery?? (10/10/2007 2:13:57 PM)

Curious to know if anyone on the board, being Dom/sub/Switch have participated in either obtaining a sissy sub for occasional play, 24/7 TPE or have submitted as one?

There's countless erotica on the web, magazines and videos that showcase this segment of slavery/servitude. It is romanticized in this media and doesn't necessarily show the masses how this avenue of servitude is played out in real life. Is it a small, unpopular segment in the BDSM community? Is it frowned upon? I have seen Professional Dom's advertise this service on their website. I wonder if the appeal of cross-dressing, strap-on play and being someone's "sissy" is enjoyable to the Dom and sub in a controlled setting, where after the session they can both go their separate ways. Does the fantasy of being owned and collared as a "sissy" in a 24/7 TPE clash with reality?

I'm curious to hear from everyone on the board who have tried this out (negative and positive experiences) or are contemplating this in their lifestyle, be they Dom/sub/Switch.

Have not had any experience with this personally more than reading aforementioned erotica, however, I can't imagine that it's not merely an issue of personal preference for both parties.

It's not frowned upon any more than any other type of BDSM we talk about here on CM. You merely have to find two people who share this interest (and are compatible in other areas), and voila, you have a happy D/sissy couple. [:)]

We have just celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Miss Prim's Muir Academy for naughty adult girls, boys and special girls (TVs or Sissies).

I would guess that TVs make up nearly 50% of our mailing list and one of our major markets for clothing, books and magazines.

Whereas 'real' girls make up about 3% of our mailing list and a tiny proportion of our sales.

I guess most times, when we sell something for a real giirl to wear or use, a man pays for it!

Cross-dressing maids have also been a consistent aspect of The Muir Academy and latterly our Tawsingham Community too.

The really interesting thing is that in most scene events we've run here in the UK have been attended by about 30% 'real' girls, 30% TVs and 40% men.

Obviously the actual proportion at any event has varied far more widely, but that is a kind of 'average' figure.

So TVs, sissies, whatever you call them (and be careful of generalising, take 30 TVs and you will get 40 different motivation mixes for doing so) are a major part of the 'closet' community, and an important, but not as numerous faction amongst the 'active' community.

heres my issue with sissy slaves....now mind you i have only ever hung out with and played with five, hardly a cross section...but of all those five....looking in the mirror was way more important then cleaning it....

in some cases i was just there to provide an audience, and honestly even when i was paid for that sort of thing, i had better things to do with my time.

You mentioned a "closet" community. I can't help but wonder if most BDSM munches and support groups do not have any representation in the form of crossdressers, sissies or transvestites? Would shame, homophobia or embarassment scare most people who want to attend? Is this segment primarily underground? In niche groups? Is there a different attitude about these things in the UK vs. US? I am thinking about joining a local BDSM support group and attend a munch but I wonder if my lifestyle, what I seek differ from the majority of folks who attend these functions.

It is a fairly common male fantasy...not universal, but common.  Who do you suppose writes most of that "romanticized" stuff you read or watch?  Who do you think is buying all that stuff?

In real life, it can be vastly different.  "Full Dress Uniform" is usually saved for Saturday nights and special occasions.  In everyday life, perhaps you may be dusting in a pair of panties, or wearing panties under your slacks at work for her.

Like most of D/s, it is an exercise in psychology, and the panties and stockings are just props to achieve a much deeper purpose.
