I had another thought. I was once bound and then force-fed wine, enough to get me quite intoxicated since I'd had a glass before being bound. I usually really highly value having my wits about me, having a mental edge over people most of the time, and at least having my power of reason even when being dominated. Having that forcibly taken away was an incredible effect. I have a love-hate relationship with that kind of vulnerability. It is so intense and intimate, but very scary.

For me, bondage isn't much about justifying participating in taboo activities. I'm pretty much always happy to do that without being bound. Man, what is it about rope against the skin? Shibari just puts me in such a tranquil submissive space that I don't experience with anything else. It is like it is the only way I can capture and revel in a submissive feeling in a way that isn't connected to the dom/tier, it is almost like masturbation, though someone else obviously does have to do the tying, I'm happy to just sit and revel in the feeling of being bound in its self. Man, I really wish my shibari club met more often. Like, every night.

And being wrestled down and restrained and being at that big, strong man's mercy is just plain hot. Demonstration of prowess.

Bondage take downs are fun-you can start them with a four foot piece of rope with a slip loop on one end. get hold of a hand, slip the loop over the wrist. Gives you a handle. when she goes for the rope to try and get it off-you have the other hand too, it tends to go downhill to full ties from there. But I think I enjoy it more when they keep struggling-as I rather arrogantly fondle them, and finger thier orfices. For me the more I feel forced and helpless the more submissive I become so when my Sir has me bound I very quickly go into subspace.

I think it's understandable to use force to help you get over guilt issues. Although, I have always thought it seems more rampant in submissive males than females. Like forced feminization/cross dressing/sissification etc etc.

I'm late to this thread and haven't read any other replies yet.
For me it's not the forced aspect, but more of having no choices.
Once I'm given a choice in what's to happen in the scene then I'm mentally out of there. It loses all appeal to me.
Come to think of it though...that forced aspect is pretty hot too.

Ding! Yes this is it exactly. Hearing "I'm gonna tie you up ok?" I would be "meh, whatevah, ok I need some quality time re-working this recipe in my head" But just grabbed out of the blue & held down not knowing it was coming OOOOOH. Seriously though, Tigrita of course said it beautifully. I see it as an equal flow between the two people. I think sometimes the focus on a slave or submissive "wanting" to submit and doing it only because they want to please leaves out of the responsibility of the Dom. Ok then... here is a slightly different view on the subject for you all.

I love it when my man forces me to do things or when he grabs me by the wrists and holds them above my head as I try and fight against him.

The reason??

Simple (not guilt related in the slightest) He is bigger and stronger than me... I like being reminded that if & when he desires something he WIL have it whether I like it or not...I like fighting him, feeling his strength overpower mine so I am reminded he really couldnt be stopped if he didnt want to be (and it makes me hot)
To the point.... I then remember all the time he is gentle with me, I am free to be me, to do what I chose and say what I think.
It proves my trust in him is correctly placed and I can feel safe in the knowledge that he is sweet and gentle alot of the time because he loves & respects me... then when play time comes..... Hee hee hee..... time to fight all over again.

Ok so I just read that back to myself and I'm not sure if it makes sense... trouble is I cant think of any other way to word it.

And just the ability to force somneone into bondage, and leave them bound is a big turn on for me. It's sort of a lazy power. Then, there is the humilation factor in it all. Your body will tend to betray you eventually-it will have it's way. I guess you would have to be there......hearnig a girl begging for a nice absorbent diaper-when the alternative is to end up lying in a pool of her own piss-on a rubber sheet.

One makes use of the resources at hand-and it makes for interesting experiences. One just has to be creative-and not too prissy.
